Emmas pov

HE KISSED HER BACK. SERIOUSLY. WHY WOULD HE DO THAT. DOSNT HE KNOW HOW CLOSE HE WAS TO GETING RAY TO LIKE HIM. YOU DONT HAVE TO BE A GENIUS TO SEE THAT THEY BOTH HAVE FEELINGS FOR EACH OTHER.

"Ray..." Gilda said. He didn't respond he just ran out of the room. "I'll talk to him" don said and stood up. " Me to" Gilda said and went with don to find Ray. I'll join them in a minute.

I got out of my seat and stormed over to normans table. The girl had left and he was talking to his friends. Once I got up to him I slapped him across the face. He sat in shock as his friends all flinched. I grabbed him by the coller of his shirt and yelled at him.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT YOU ASSWHOLE. DO YOU EVEN RELIZE WHAT YOU JUST DID".

Norman tried geting out of my grip but I was quit strong. "EMMA LET GO OF ME WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU" he yelled back.

By now the whole lunch room was watching us and a few kids ran out im guessing to get a teacher.

"WHY DID YOU KISS HER WHY WOULD YOU RUIN YOUR CHANCE". "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT SHE KISSED ME FIRST". "YOU DIDNT EVEN TRY TO PUSH HER AWAY THOUGH".

Norman broke free from my grasp and I went to punch him but someone pulled me back . I didn't even check to see who it was all I cared about was what Norman did to Ray.

"YOUR SUCH AND IDIOT DO YOU EVEN RELIZE WHAT YOUVE DONE. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I TOLD HIM TO STAY AWAY FROM YOU".

"WHO ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT". Norman was now about as angry as I was and was about to run at me but a teacher went behind him and held him back from doing so.

"LOOK AROUND NORMAN DO YOU SEE RAY ANYWERE".

Norman looked around and his eyes widened.  "He saw didn't he".

"OF COURSE HE DID YOU ASSWHOLE AND NOW BECAUSE OF YOU HES CRYING. YOU WERE SO CLOSE NORMAN BUT YOU JUST RUINED IT. I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU SO MUCH".

Who ever was holding me back lost grip so I used that opening to run at Norman and tackle him. I pushed him to the floor and went to hit him but someone else grabbed me and pulled me out of the room. I was screaming at Norman about how much I hate him and how its his fault.

"Emma I need you to calm down" the person drawing me said. I looked up to see one of the teachers. It was the teacher Ray said dosnt teach him anything.

I took a deep breath and the teacher stopped dragging me. We now stood in the middle of the hallway. 

"Emma please tell me what happened why did you attack Norman ". I shook my head. "He broke my friends heart.

The teacher nodded. "I understand but you really shouldn't go attacking a fellow student there are so many other ways to get back at him".

"Why are you telling me this ms"? The teacher shrugged and answered.  "My favorite part of being a teacher is seeing some drama". Jezz rays right this teacher really shouldn't have this job.

Normans pov

A teacher helped me off of the floor and told me I needed to go to the nurses office. My one of my friends offered to go with me but I said I was fine and left. I wonder what Emma meant I was so close. Was she saying Ray liked me back. She must be wrong.

As I was walking I herd sniffling from one of the boys bathroom. I peeked inside and saw don Gilda and Ray sitting on the floor. They didn't seem me so I continued to watch. "Hey Ray its going to be ok " don said softly.  That was when I realized Ray was the one crying. I was about to walk in and ask whats wrong until Gilda said.

"Normans a jerk and you shouldn't waist you tears on him". He's crying because of me. Why.

"I-i knew this would happen Emma w-worned me b-but I didn't listen.  I'm such an idiot". Hearing Ray talk like this made me want to cry to. Was it true. Did what Emma said really happen. Did Ray really fall for me.

I couldn't bear to listen anymore so I left to go to the nurses office. She checked to see if I was bleeding but I was fine. After she told me I was fine I went to class. I don't have anymore classes with Ray so ill have to talk to him when I get home.

Rays pov

After school I normally wait for Norman so we can walk to his house together but today I just couldn't so I left without him. I herd from a few classmates that Emma fought Norman and was now suspended.  I hope both of them are OK.

I went inside the house and saw Olivia making dinner. "Oh hello Ray were is norman don't you two always walk home together ".

"Hes back at school still but I have alot of homework to finish before school started again so I thought it would be best to just come straight here to finish it early ".

Olivia smiled and nodded and I left to go to my room. I put my school bag down and pulled out my text books. Maybe doing homework will help take my mind off of things. After about an hour I herd a knock on my door and a voice call out. "Ray are you in there". It was Norman.

I opened the door and put on a fake 'I'm ok' expression.  "Yeah whats up".

"I was looking for you after school but couldn't find you so I got worried". He explained.  "I'm fine I just wanted to get back here to finish my homework early so I have all of break free". Norman sighed and hugged me. I flinched but returned the hug. I just have to pretend I'm ok and nothing happend. If I tell him I saw him he might not want to be friends anymore. I really don't want anyone else to leave me behind.

"Can I please continue my homework now"? I asked and pulled myself out of the hug. Norman nodded and left my room. After I heard him walk away I collapsed onto my knees. "Why...why am I such an idiot ".

I pulled myself off the floor tears still falling from my face. I laid in my bed and stared at the ceiling.  "Why can't I just have one good thing. Why must life always take everything good away form me. First dad then mom now Norman. Why dose life hate me".

I continued crying and this was the first time in a long while that I had slept alone.
