A talk

"Oh..I guess I'll have to choose Diane.. listen you know I'll always love you but we're married..."

"Thought so, you should tell her about this soon. She deserves to know about it.."

I get up from the couch and grab my bag "see ya later peanutbutter.."

I leave his house and go on my phone

"Hey bojack can you come pick me up? I'm at Mr peanutbutters house.." I say into the phone, I can hear bojack sighing on the other end

"Uh sure...I'll be there in a couple minutes" He hangs up, I walk to the side of the road and wait about 10 minutes before his car pulls up

"Hey y/n."

"Hi bojack...I uhh heard the voicemail you left..." I get into the car and sit down, bojack won't even look at me

He doesn't say anything, he stays silent until we get back to his house

When we get there Todd is standing in the driveway waving with a smile

"Hey guys your back!" He smiles and laughs

Bojack stays silent and walks back into the house

"What's wrong with him?" Todd asks, he turns around and runs after bojack

I should probably go in too

I get into the house..and shit The place is sparkling clean, wow I wonder who did this

"Do you see how clean it is? That was all me!" Todd pats my shoulder "Don't worry one day you'll master cleaning like me!" He smiles and jumps on he couch

"Wow Todd your actually great at cleaning!"

He ignores it and keeps watching TV, there's a weird show about people getting launched into the ocean...weird

I go off and look for bojack we need to talk, like normal people for once

I go into bojacks room..and shit he's getting high

"Uh hey come on in." He's sitting on his bed smoking pot

I go in and sit beside him

"Want some?" He takes out a cigarette and offers it to me, I decline

"We need to talk bojack."

"Ah shit, okay how much do you need for an abortion? I'll pay whatever" He takes out his wallet and starts counting money

"Wait what the fuck! No not at all!"

"Oh Jesus christ that was almost a big problem!" He wipes sweat from his head and smokes another cigarette

"We need to talk about that voicemail you sent me.."

"Oh fuck I knew it would come to this someday..." He sighs and places a hand on his head

"Don't try and avoid it. We both know what you said on the voicemail." I rub my arm and hear him sighing again

"Listen. I was drunk and high, it didn't mean anything I swear!" He shakes his head and drinks from cup at his bedside

"No you weren't! You said it clearly sober for once and how were you driving a couple minutes later and you were clearly sober when I called you after! Stop lying to me bojack, your not a child anymore!" I jump off the bed and go to open the door

"Wait! Fine sit down and ill talk."

"Okay..but you better not just be bullshitting me or else"

I sit down again and he puts out his cigarette

"Okay what do you wanna hear?" He looks at me with a blank stare

"What did you mean on that voicemail, I want to know, we can't just ignore this forever. We need to talk about it to move on"

"Okay, y/n when we first met I felt a weird connection with you..it wasn't like what I had with anyone else..other than Diane but that's in the past now, she's married"

I sigh and remember the things about Mr peanutbutter

"After everything that's happened with us I'm sure of it, I-I love you but I can't drag you into my shithole life and have you get..more hurt than you already have" He continues talking and clutches his head

"I really do love you y/n! And you don't deserve to be dragged into my life, I'm a shitty person and I don't want anyone else to get hurt by me!" I hear him crying slightly

"Listen bojack..I know you never really cry infront of people, orrr express your feeling much other than being a dick..and even though I kinda hate you right now, we might be able to make this work..."

"I know you hate me you don't have to say it over and over again..." I can hear him chuckling

"Wanna watch some horsin around with me?" He lifts his head up and pats a place on his bed

"Sure, there's nothing better to do anyways" I laughs slightly and sit beside him

And episode starts and the intro plays, he's humming the intro

"I hope nothing will go wrong today..."
