It's way more than and deeper than that.
Love at first sight? Parang napakabilis naman yata. Why would he even dare to fall at me even though I'm not doing anything? Of all the beautiful reporters and model he have ever encountered.. bakit ako? Why me?
Gwapo, matalino, mapagpakumbaba, baboy kumain, natutulala minsan, nakakasilaw ang ngiti, palaging may sore eyes dahil laging naka shades- damn this mind.
Pero here's a thought... If I did ever give him a chance...
Even though, tuwing gabi he's working, tinatawagan niya naman ako.... At morning he give sampaguitas as a morning welcome.
I laughed at that thought. I'm just kidding. Actually sampaguita is my favorite flower. It resembles love, way more than true love. It's fragrant...
I got out from my room and noticed how my family became freaks fighting for who shall put the star above the five feet Christmas tree.
Apparently, they looked at me like I've gone out after a long sleep nor hybernation. Melanie's holding some wallet sized pictures of us with a strap where she could placed it on the tree, mom's holding the Christmas light, dad is holding the star, while Tito has the gifts.
He then gave me the star forcedly.
Mom started to encircle the lights after the decorations such as the balls, pictures, and Santa Clause's small figurines. She also made it perfectly to the fact where red light were separated from the gold, and silver lights. It's fancy, yet satisfying to watch especially when turned on the lights. Tito then, placed the gifts one by one with our name on it. I've noticed three gifts for me; one with a small box, other with a paper bag, and lastly, one is a rectangular box. "Kanino galing iyong dalawa?"
"Earlier, kuya Salvador brought them to us before he went to work.
" Work? It's Christmas but why the hell is he working? Don't he have family to celebrate with?" I asked them. They just shrugged and continue designing the tree until it's time to put the missing piece.
