I was doing so much better
I wasn't weak anymore I could move a lot but I just wasn't myself
I've never been through that before and I didn't know how to feel
I still haven't told Dave what happened but I think it's time I did
I was so bummed that Dave put his tour on hold just cause of me I told him to go but he wasn't trying to hear that
I was sitting in the hospital bed looking at the tv when there was a knock on the door

The door finally opened and their appeared mama cece and Lamar
Hey guys I said slightly smiling
Hey Leah cece said running over to me
Can I hug you I don't wanna hurt you she said
Yeah you can hug me girl don't get crazy I said chuckling as we hugged

I'm getting better I said trying to sit up but my stomach hurt a bit So I winced
You okay mama said
Yeah I'm fine just a little stomach pain

I looked over at Lamar and he was quite

He looked up at me and slowly nodded before looking back down
I frowned and looked at cece and mama
Can you give us a minute I told them
Yeah we're gonna go get some drinks out the vending machine
I nodded as they left
I looked back at Lamar

He got up and sat at the edge of the bed

I really thought we lost you he said looking up at me
But you didn't I'm right here I don't care what happens to me I will always be here for you and cece I said
