Dave's pov
It was going on 9 and I just got done laying kairi down for the night
I cracked the door going to cece room lightly knocking
Cece soon opened the door
I'm finna head out kairi is already sleeping
She nodded

Love you to C I said walking from the door and going down the stairs
I grabbed my keys and headed out
At the studio
I finally arrived going in
I went to the elevator pressing 4
I waited a few minutes before it opened and I got off
As I was walking to my studio what happened earlier replayed in my head and I had to go say something to maya
I turned in the other direction and soon got to her door
I lightly knocked and soon the door opened
Maya stood there half smiling
Oh uh hey Dave she said
Hey uh you mind if I talk to you real quick
Yeah sure she said nodding opening the door more so that I could some in
She soon closed the door and we both sat down
Aye I just wanted to apologize for how my little cousin acted earlier
Oh no it's fine, I'm sure whoever leah is she sure doesn't want her replaced she said with a nervous laugh
I shook my head looking away
Leah is my ex fiancée things just didn't fall through so we broke up months back I said my cousin just don't want me replacing her I said being truthful
Maya nodded as I continued talking
Like I said I just wanted to apologize I said now standing up as she stood up after me

She nodded as I walked out the door soon meeting with shoota
