Today was gonna be a emotional day for me
Dave leaves for tour today and I was sad but happy
We had family time with everybody yesterday and me and him opened our Christmas gifts we had bought for home last night
It was going on 4 in the afternoon and Dave was gone taking care of business
I had to drop him and shoota off at 10 tonight for the tour bus
I know I would cry because I'd be lonely once again
I huffed and cleaned the house
Leah I heard someone say
I turned around and seen cece
Hey girly what's up I said looking at her smiling
Nothing I'm just so sad that Dave's leaving tonight she said pouting as her eyes got watery
Its gonna be okay girly , I'm gonna ask my boss if I can maybe take a week off of work one of these months so that we can fly to wherever he's gonna be at and go to his shows I said
She smiled and nodded
I went over to her giving her a hug
As I proceeded cleaning the door bell rung and I walked over to it looking in the peep hole seeing it was mama
I opened it letting her in
Hey baby Dave back yet she asked
No he should be back in a couple hours though I said
She nodded and sat on the couch
Man I can't believe my baby doing his dream mama said as her voice cracked
Yeah me to I'm gonna miss him I said looking at my fingers
Me to, ima miss my boy mama said looking at the portrait of him that was hanging on the wall

Nothing now just finished cleaning, Lamar's in the shower she said as me and mama nodded

Uh I don't know , I have to go grocery shopping actually in a few minutes after I clean I said

Yes all the company I can't get I said laughing getting up
Just let me go finish this little bit of cleaning and take a shower and get dressed and then we can leave I said causing them to nod

It was going on 5 and I just finished doing what I needed to do
I got dressed and left out going downstairs
