The same night
Dave's pov
Once leah packed her things and left I sat down in the back yard and smoked a blunt
I took a long deep breathe and sat in the chair outside just thinking
I soon got up going back inside turning all the lights off going upstairs to my room
What a fucking day yo I said to myself as I got into my bed soon closing my eyes and dozing off
Hours later
My phone kept going off which caused me to wake up
Man what the fuck man leave me alone I said looking at my phone not knowing the number so I just turned my phone back over and went to sleep for a little while longer
40 minutes later
As I was getting into my deep sleep I heard bangs on my door and I smacked my teeth
Man do niggas ever leave me the fuck alone damn I mumbled to myself as I rolled out the bed
I put some shorts on and slides going downstairs
I looked at the peephole and seen two officers
Man what the fuck I said under my breathe
I soon unlocked the doors having the meanest mug on my face
Hello are you David Brewster one officer said
Yes what y'all need i said looking at both of them
We came here with news one of them said while the other cleared they throat
Okay I said standing up straight

I felt a lump in my throat with this feeling I'm my stomach

She uh was in a accident they said
Wait what is she okay what happened I said
She fell from a hotel balcony they said
WHAT I said as my emotions were now everywhere

Yes she alive but we need you to come to the hospital we will ask you questions later
I nodded and closed the door and ran up the stairs skipping a few

I put my tee on and and some socks with my air forces and grabbed my phone and keys and ran down the stairs out the door locking it and getting into my charger and speeding off
25 minutes later
I got to the hospital seeing the officers from earlier and went up to them
We all walked inside and they brought me to the elevator
We went up to the 7th floor and got out
I could feel my heart being sucked in like I was gonna fall out
We walked down a hall then turned down another then another then soon came a closed door with closed blinds
