Blue Eyed Boy- Chapter Thirty-Four

Tyler's POV

I sat alertly in the corner of the white room that I have been held captive in for the last few days. As far as I know, there is a group of at least two dozen guys guarding our prison house. If I knew that there was a possibility of getting Addison out of here alive, then I already would have done it. 

What Tanner told me earlier has my blood boiling and my fists clenching just at the thought of it. Turns out the bosses right-hand man, Luke, beat my innocent girlfriend. That guy has hell to pay when I finally get out of this mess. Just as I was about to lose control and run the door down, Tanner came in.

"Hey man. How you doing?"Tanner asked, looking at my white knuckles in concern.

"Good,"I forced out, relaxing my hands and laying them palm down on the cool concrete floor.

He stepped towards me and handed over a bottle of water and half a muffin,"Sorry about the muffin. I wasn't able to sneak more and they are trying to get ya'lls weight down so they made you split."

"Thanks man. Why are they trying to get our weight down?"

"Different reasons. Mainly to make Addison skinnier for the show and you weaker. It's all part of the bosses plan,"he shrugged.

"When I get out of here, there is going to be hell to pay,"I growled, standing up and pacing around the small room,"I just wish you could tell me what this show is all about."

"I wish I could, too. But there are certain lines I can't pass. If I mess up, my family is going to have to pay,"he winced at the thought of the gang hurting his wife and kid.

"Why aren't you out?"

He pointed to me,"Exhibit A of why I am not out."

"Tanner, you could have already completed the tasks of getting out. You have served the minimum of five years and have been a decent part."

"That's not what it takes anymore. Since you left, they have raised the bar. They realized that if you are a very important member, they can't afford to lose you. So you have to do something to make you not worthy enough anymore."

"Just disobey and help me out of here,"I suggested but he shook his head.

"That's too severe. That would cause my death along with the loss of other loved ones."

"I'm gonna thank about it and get back to you. Thanks for the risk though. Go check on Addi and tell me of her health at dinner,"I shooed him away and he obeyed.

The door clicked locked behind him and I dropped my head in my hands. Everyone in this damn house when in a heap of shit right now. So far, I have only seen a couple members of the gang. Tanner, Luke, and Michael. Let's just say that two of those visits ended up with sore limbs and black eyes.

I fell asleep slumped against the corner, but it wasn't long lived. The door slammed open, startling me and making me knock my head against the wall. I groaned and held my head for a moment before looking up to see who my visitor was.

My eyes widened in shock when they landed on the intimidating man. The one and only. The leader. The boss. No one really knew his actual name. He was a mystery to all of the gang members. He was usually refered to as 'the boss' or 'him'. On occasion a member would call him Lue or Luesepher. But that was only refering to how much he resembled the devil, inside and out.
