Chapter 7

Nico's POV

No...no...no...this is all wrong. I'm sure of it. Percy was just trying to be helpful. I know that deep inside he has no feelings for me in that way at all. Oh why. Why must things like these happen now.

To make me feel even worse, I also have feelings for Percy. I'm just a little confused on whether it's just as a friend or romantically. I seriously have to go sort out my feelings. I can't stand to think that because of my actions, Percy won't even be classified under the category 'friends'.

The Next Day In School ~

"Hey hey hey Nico!" Will exclaimed, walking up to me. For some reason, he looks really happy - a total opposite to how I am feeling.

I did not want to, but I kind of gave him the cold shoulder. "What do you want, Solace? If you don't mind, I do not want to talk to anyone right now."

"Woah...well okay. See you later, Neeks!" Will waved goodbye and ran off. A wave of mixed emotions washed over me...so far only Percy has been calling me that...

All of a sudden, I felt someone watching me. Again. The same feeling when I went out with Percy the other time...the day I spotted that girl. I turned around and sure enough, it was her. I could remember her face clearly. Green eyes, auburn hair and a small frame.

She glared at me before storming off, clutching her books tightly.

"What was that for..." I muttered, proceeding to class before the bell rang.

After school, Percy just left the classroom without sparing me a glance. It's like he is avoiding me on purpose. I gathered my books and went out of the classroom when Will came up to me again.

"Hey...Nico? Bruh...tell me what's wrong. Maybe I can be of help in some way?" Will spoke with a sincere smile on his face.

I sighed and nodded. We sat together on the bench and I began my story from when Percy wanted to help me break the 3 rules, till now, when he won't even look at me.

"And I'm just afraid that he is just saying that to officially break the 3 rules. He may not really have feelings for me...know what I'm saying?" I finished off.

Will nodded. "I have an idea. I'm not sure if you will be okay with it but...I can pretend to be your boyfriend for a little bit. To see if he really likes you."

I widened my eyes at him. "Are you crazy?"

"Don't get the wrong idea bro. I'm straight kay? I like someone else, and she's a girl." He emphasised.

"Well. I'm going for the idea. So for now...tell me. Who is this girl?" I smirked.

"R-Renee." He admitted.

"Oh...I see...well, good luck."

"Thanks Nico. So...we start our 'relationship' tomorrow?" He quoted the relationship word.

"It's on, Solace."

Yey for another update. Kay imma go on my laptop now and add the dedications because I totally forgot. Sigh. Sorryyy!!! Oh and the comments on the previous chapter...you guys are secute.
