Chapter 3

Nico's POV

Truthfully, as we approached Taco Bell, I already started to get scared. When I get home, my mum is surely going to 'interrogate' me and when that happens, what the hell am I supposed to do?

By stupidly listening to Percy, I'm already breaking one of the rules! That's like...critical. I'm still young. I don't wanna die! Ahem...yea, anyway, I'm still manly as eff.

Percy and I ordered our food and sat down to start eating and chat a little. Just as he was telling me something that happened in school today, I saw a girl looking towards our direction.

At first, I thought that she was just attracted to Percy since, I cannot deny, he is rather good looking. However, few minutes later, same thing. She was staring at us again. Kinda like spying, but very obviously. Like she wanted us to know we had it in for us.

"Percy, I think we should leave."

"Like right now? But we only just got here!" He whined.

"Leave. Now." I ordered, standing up and gathering my stuff while he did the same but with a rather confused expression.

We boarded the same bus home since Percy's house was not too far from mine.

"Hey, thanks. I guess today was fun, though we had to quickly leave and I have to come up with an excuse for my mum now." I smiled.

He nodded, smiling back. "No prob, Neeks! Anytime! I'm gonna make sure you break all three rules. Cause' I'm just cool like that."

I laughed, shaking my head. The ride back home was so much fun. I have never felt this in such a long time and I'm glad to have a friend like Percy.

At Home ~

"Nico! Where were you? I was worried sick! Now explain yourself, young man!" My mum's scream echoed through the first level of the house.

I had to think of something. Real quick.

"Oh, uhm, sorry mum. I had to stay back after school today for some extra lessons. Ya know...exams coming up and all." I answered.

"Okay, but next time you better inform me of all these. Who knows, you might be out there somewhere getting wasted-"

"MUM!" I exclaimed.

"Alright, alright. Now go upstairs, have a nice shower and start doing your homework." My mum instructed and I did as I was told.

Phew. That was close.

Break Rules 1/3, mission accomplished. Also, additional points for me because I got away scott free. Yas!

3 updates in 1 week. WOOOOO! Anyway, yea, new character introduced! You'll get to know her name soon enough. *hint* Not all OCs are good people. Muahahaha.
