Chapter 2

Percy's POV

Reyna: Uhm...Percy? I think Nico's angry at you.

Percy: What? Why?

Reyna: Cuz you sent that picture and I showed my mum because it was cute. Nico almost got into trouble with her and yea...

Percy: And how is that my fault? You were the one who showed Mrs di Angelo the pic!

Reyna: Well you took the picture so now Neeks is pissed. Got to go! Good luck with Nico!

Percy: Hey! Come back! Reynaaa!

I pressed the lock button on my phone and threw my phone onto the bed. Reyna- sorry, I meant, I MESSED UP BIG TIME! Mrs di Angelo is pissed, Nico is pissed. Great. Life is being really nice to me right now. Note the sarcasm.

I guess I owe someone special an apology tomorrow. Yes, someone special. I've told absolutely no one about this but, I'm gay and I like- no. Correction, I love Nico di Angelo. Yea...this is going to be hard for me.

Next Day in School ~

"Hi Nico!" I smiled, waving at him from across the hallway in school. He simply rolled his eyes before slamming his locker shut and walking off. Not wasting anymore time, I ran after him, calling out his name until he stopped to turn back.

"What do you want, Jackson?" Nico said coldly. (a/n: P!ATD fans this is your moment! *sings Miss Jackson*)

I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly, gathering up the courage to say something and not act like a fool.

"I-I just wanted to apologise for sending that picture to Reyna. I don't know, I guess it was cute how you and Piper are so close like siblings." I admitted.

"Okay then, you're forgiven this time, Percy. You better not get me into trouble again." He warned and I nodded before heading to class just as the bell rang.

After school, I waited outside Nico's class, still curious as to why his mum would react greatly to just a simple picture. It's not like Nico will end up with Piper anyways. Nico is mine, people. Wait no...sorry...my feels are acting up.

"Hi Nico! I still feel kinda apologetic about the incident so...wanna go hang out at Taco Bell maybe?" I suggested, trying to plead with my eyes as well. Which I probably failed terribly at.

"As much as I want to, I can't, Perce. My mun would expect me to be home." He gave me a look of apology.

"Aww why? Oh, which reminds me. Why is your mum so bothered about small things, like that picture for example?" I asked, curious.

Nico looked unsure for a moment before pulling me to one side where there were not a lot of students.

"Okay, well, my mum gave me three rules to follow when it comes to my love life so she freaked when she saw the picture of Pipes hugging me." Nico explained.

He then went on to tell me what those rules were.

"Well aren't you sick of them? Don't you wish they never existed?" I inquired.

"Of course!" He exclaimed.

"Then we'll do just that. Starting from now. Today, you will stay out till five. With me. Let's go!" I said happily before dragging Nico by the arm to Taco Bell.
