" Sir, the spy failed to retrieve the target and the drug put him down. What are your orders now Sir? "

The man on the chair, facing out the window of his big office playing with a rubix cube, smirked and turned around slowly. Due to poor lighting, all you could see of the man was his silouhuette. He smiled, revealing his pearly whites, " How bout we give that boy John a little visit. "

After telling the Royals and all that, the schools updated security system started in motion. The students were oblivious to what was going on, and the royals wanted to maintain that, not wanting to cause a panic.

John was the most exhausted out of all of them, having to activate his ability for Hours every single day. Sera could see the exhaustion on Johns face, but John always gives her a wide smile and insists that hes totally fine.

No one could ease the work off of John because he was the only one with the ability to do the job. Johns range was also very wide and he has to maintain that until every single student was home. Even after that he has to patrol the surrounding area for suspicious people before going home himself.

The Royals, even the school, felt bad for John.

One day after school, while sitting on the roof top with John, she tried to make conversation to distract John a little, " John, what you're doing for us, thank you. You've done so much for us and me especially, you know you can rest right? You are still human..."

John wrapped his arms around his new girlfriend, " Sadly I cannot rest Sera, to ensure everyones safety, Especially yours. I cannot afford to put you in danger again for my weird reputation with bad company. The guy came for you because of me. "

Sera couldnt rebutt nor deny all the facts John had just said...but she wanted to make it more, fun? For John.

" You know..." Sera was gently squeezing Johns thigh, " What you're doing now is sort of like you are a superhero, patrolling the city, keeping everyone safe with your powers. "

That brought up memories of Unordinary, about a world of cripples with 1 person with power saving them all with that power. John nodded, motioning for Sera to state her actual point.

" Then it wouldnt hurt, for you to dress like one right? "

John has seen the vigilantes formed after the book UnOrdinary was written, it was also banned by the authorities for that particular reason. They said it encouraged teenagers to risk their lives for no reason, and with the Company called Ember taking down those Heroes, is was the more reason why John didnt like where this was going.

" You want me to dress like a Superhero? What if Ember targets me? That would just lead to more trouble for us Sera. "

Sera looked ashamed of her idea now, leaning more into Johns chest. " I was just trying to make it more fun for you. Sorry, I knew it was stupid. "

John could see that Sera was actually upset. So he squeezed her arm gently, and kissed her on the top of her head.
" What would be my superhero name though? I wont even know what to wear, " Sera looked up at John excited.
" Would you help me Sera? "

Sera beamed, " What about Ember? "

John liked seeing Sera smile, " I'll do anything for your happiness, even taking on an entire group killing Vigilanties. "

Seraphina jumped onto John, hugging him tightly and he returned the hug.

" Lets go shopping now, I have a very good idea on what you should wear already!! Your name...we can think of that later. " Sera giggled over all of her excitement. Not only because she gets to dress John up and seeing him in action would be fun. But because she could do something to somewhat lighten Johns tedious job for him. Even though it was little it made John smile, which makes Sera happy.
