Its been a few awkward days after that stay over. Seraphina talks to John lesser and lesser but John is not here for it.

He tries to talk with her, start conversations. But she would just reply with a nod or a shake of her head. Sometimes she would open her mouth to answer but her reply would always be a few words long.

John was getting anxious. Does she not like him anymore? What has he done to make her act this way towards him, he thought he was getting better at being a friend. So why?

After classes they both awkwardly walked towards the school gates, about to head back to their respective dorms. But John sensed a presence behind them and turned around sharply. He outstretched his left hand and grabbed for the persons neck, somehow making his other hand have claws and pointing it at their ' stalker '.

" Woah John chill, its me Arlo. " Once John saw that it was indeed him, he apologised profusely,and Arlo accepted. Arlo wondered why John would be so defensive, anyone who senses someone following them would try and see who it is and try to reason. John straight up wanted to kill him or interrogate him or something. It was threatening, seeing Johns power in the flesh for the first time, he didnt even have enough time to put up his barrier.

" Why are you here Arlo? " Seraphina asked with her arms crossed. Turns out the Schools Ace and King doesnt have the best relationship.

" Relax. Im just here to invite you 2 to the turf wars occuring next week. We are fighting against Lincoln High. I heard they got a new King and Queen and so far they are considered unbeatable. Maybe even more powerful than me. So im requesting you guys to be there as backup, incase we cannot handle them. "

After seeing abit of Johns power, Arlo had no doubt that with them there they would be victorious.

John looked at Seraphina for her reaction and her responce to Arlos proposal. She simply replied," We need to think it through first. " Arlo smiled, satisfied that it wasnt a direct no. And with that the 2 walked away, instead of going to their individual dorms, they both went to a house John bought awhile ago to discuss if they should go.

John said he bought the house so that when he needs alone time or time away from the chaos at school, he would chill there. But he didnt tell Sera it was incase of an emergency, or if he will be suspended again.

After they've reached the place and sat down, John poured some juice for the both of them and layed out some snacks.

They sat there in silence. John couldnt take it anymore and asked the question that has been itching at him. " Why are you avoiding me, am I doing something wrong? "

Seraphina looked away from John. "I also need to think about that question before answering. " " Was I being too pushy? Too annoying? If theres anything you're not happy with you can just tell me I'll change I... "

When he saw that her answer would still be the same, he gave up on the questions and gave her the time to think.

" Look, we both apparently had a very stressful week, so how bout we accept Arlos proposal and go to Turf Wars, let off some steam? " Seraphina took a few seconds of contemplation, and nodded at Johns suggestion.

John let Sera walk back to her dorm alone, not wanting to make it even more awkward than it already was.

Once everyone reached the train station, the Royals made their way to Welston turf wars location. During the train ride, John gave a short introduction of himself to everyone and what his ability does. They know that John is the most powerful amongst them even though they've never seen his power before. Seraphina assured them that everything John said so far to them was true, and they believed her. Remi and Blyke introduced themselves to John too.
