Since that day, Sera and the other royals noticed John has been acting very differently.

Him, who used to be a patient and nice person, starts glaring at everyone who walks past him.

One time, a guy accidentally bumped into John while rushing to class.

"Sorry John" was all he said before moving on to his next class.

John, however, didnt look satisfied with his answer and pulled him back. He lifted the boys collar, and stared him down, letting out killing intent.

The boy was terrified, and glanced at Sera, his eyes begging for help.

"John thats enough, he said he was sorry." John glared menacingly before reluctantly placing the boy down, and watched him scurry away shaking.

Sera was concerned. She never seen John treat the students like this in all the times he was studying in Welston. The Gym that day was the first incident. But since then Johns temper seemed to have gotten worse and worse, getting mad at the simplest and dumbest of things.

Sera reached out to try and hold Johns hand to calm him down. He flinched, but allowed her to do so.

"John whats gotten into you? Why are you so aggresive."

John looked lost for a second, "I- " but then his expression turned to a harsh one.

" None of your god damn business. " he said as he threw Seras hand and stormed away.

Sera was a little hurt at his reaction, him never doing that before and she did nothing to deserve this treatment.

She decided to have a meeting with Mr Vaghn and the royals to report on this.

"What the hell is wrong with that dude. Was he just being nice to get on our good sides? And when we become friends he starts showing his true colours..."

"No Blyke. You know John better than that. He sacrificed so much to keep us safe, he would never be that kind of person." Sera believed in John. She believed that he was not behaving like this willingly. 

"Something is definetely wrong with him...I only wish i knew what it is or how we can help..." Everyone seemed lost in thought, guilty they couldnt help their friend

"But what can we do if John runs Ramptant? We are powerless against him, he's just too strong." Arlo wants to help his friend too, but he wants to lay down the facts before they come up with a plan.

"We would have no choice but to keep an eye on him. If he does do something out of line, I'll handle him." The principal suggested.

"If we could subdue John, or knock him out before he uses his ability this might work." It worked the time they captured John back from Lincoln...but now is different. Before, he was a puppet waiting for orders. Now he was a wild animal whom can pounce at anyone at any given moment.

They were all still coming up with a plan when the principals door swung open. The royals and the principal looked puzzled at the boy who barged in, but the boy looked scared and didnt apologise for the intrusion.

"Johns starting a fight in the cafeteria!"

The royals quickly rushed to the scene, wanting to see the damage done first.

Luckily when they arrived, not many were injured. They just saw John holding a beat up Zeke by the neck, him gasping for breath and Zekes buddies laying on the floor motionless.

While Arlo and Blyke tried to stop John from killing Zeke, Sera asked one of the witnesses what happened.

"John came to get a drink, but Zeke tried to bring John "down to his level". He was planning to take revenge for John from the previous time they'd encountered..."
