Kaito's(Hiro) POV
It's been about a week since I've started training Lily. It took me a while to realize that we weren't at a party together so we partied up. Lily has been getting used to switching attack which has increased her mobility in battle. She still needs to work on her follow through but besides that I think we're making good progress. Today I told her to take the day off to rest. I've had her out here from morning to night. Right now I'm in a cave fighting bat based enemies to work on my acrobatic combat. One comes flying share it for me as I cut it in half right in front of me.
Me: fighting these guys has gotten easier. Guess I should find another place to practice for a while while they respawn.
I sheathe my blade and walk out of the cave. Coming out I see the sun is really bright so I have to let my eyes adjust to it. When they do I see someone's fighting the bee's that usually surround the outside of the cave. The person was using a rapier and defeating them with lightning fast speed. That style of fighting looks really familiar for somewhere I have seen it before. As they finished the last one in sight they put away their weapon and looked over to me. Now that my eyes have fully adjusted I can see who it was and they didn't look happy to see me.
Me: He...hey Asuna been a while since I've seen you around
She doesn't say anything and just walks up to me. I don't know why but any woman who makes the face she's making I feel is really dangerous. She stops as she glares daggers at me but I couldn't say anything to defend myself.
Asuna: *scary calm tone*Soo....... You know why I'm here right
Me: If I knew you were coming I would have left a long time before.
I hear the sound of her about to remove her rapier but she stopped herself before she did.
Asuna: huh you're not worth the effort it would take
Me:(Then why are you even here)
Asuna: You've been away from the front lines for too long. You need to get back so we have our full force when we find the boss.
Me: Oh come on you guys have a power house team without me.
This time she drew her rapier and put the tip of it at my neck.
Asuna: if having you there will save us time and players then we need you there. I'll give you one more week if you aren't back before then I come drag you back there myself understood.
Me: Like you could even try
After my smart remark she used her rapier and put a scratch on my face as I looked at it in fear but when I looked back to her she had quite the devilish look upon her face.
Me: Ok ok I'll be back within the week I promise
She puts her rapier away
Asuna: Good, now don't take too long Odin(Heart) won't stop bothering me about getting you back.
Me: That reminds me how he has been he hasn't messaged me in awhile you guys working him to death or something.
Asuna: Not us Axel's the one making him work to bone
Me:(that sounds like something Axel would do if Odin was slacking off again).
Asuna: well I'll be going when you get back stop by the guild the commander has been looking forward to seeing you again.
Me: Don't get your hopes up Lightning flash
She teleports away, probably back to her guild hall. She's a high ranking officer in the top guild the "Knights of the Blood Oath". At first I thought she wouldn't make it past floor 10 but to my surprise she's a floor clearing demon. Maybe I shouldn't be so much of myself around her. I might end up getting even deeper onto her bad side.
