Divya wished this wouldn't have been the seating arrangement, yet she was glad it was so. After the whole fiasco with Manav and Atharva she was skeptical about a lot of things, few being why were the two of them so silent, secondly the absence of Dev and 4th being the way Madhav was being so cozy with her.
Divya took a deep breath and wandered a lazy eye around everyone and then stopped at Natasha and Nandini who were smiling at her.She wished she would have really enjoyed this moment but at that particular time her heart was heavy with fear and nervousness and happiness and excitement and anxiety.
"Divya pull up that blanket a bit." Madhav said and once again rested his head on her shoulder. This time she could feel him even closer to her, his hair tickling her cheeks as she could feel them getting warm, his hands held hers together trying to warm them from the icy coldness that they were in due to the weather outside and the two of them wrapped in a blanket their legs spread out and intertwined in each other.
This wasn't how normal two friends sat, she knew that, but she couldn't say anything. She had lost her mind for sure and the vodka that Aman was making sure that everyone would have had started to kick in.
"Divya your turn one more sip." Aman said.
"I told you earlier I am not drinking anymore."
"I will have it, give it to me." Madhav said. And took away the bottle from Aman's hand and took two sips out of it.
'Is this some kdrama? Dude Madhav don't do this.' Divya thought as she looked at Natasha and Nandini and the other two kept on smiling like that of a cheshire cat.
"Alright let's play a game." Manav said as Madhav stood up once again. This time he wanted to go to the washroom. He instructed that no one was to sit in his place by claiming it tappu tappeese, a term that Dev had made everyone familiar with on the trip and had become a habit of theirs.
"What game?" Nandini asked.
"So we will tell you the name of a guy and if you have to tell us what would you do if they were to ask you on a date." Manav looked at each one of them as Divya stared at Natasha and Nandini, quite scared as she knew what was about to happen. She only wished that by the time her chance would come Madhav wouldn't come here.
"Alright let's start.' Manav began with Aman asking him about different girls than about the girls with whom they were talking about before they got settled, moving on through the group they reached Natasha as everyone asked. \
"Dev?"
"No, I would never ask her out." Dev muttered as everyone cursed him and Manav asked Again.
"Dev?"
"Well I wouldn't have mind earlier, but right now I am not interested." Divya and Nandini looked at each other along with Simran and asked, "How about Shiv?" The way Natasha's eyes grew made the girls laugh loudly but soon Divya chuckles died down in her stomach as Madhav walked back.
Divya could feel the frustration building up within her and her heart beating loudly. If only he could have waited for a few more minutes. It would have been so much better, after Natasha it was her chance and yet he is here back.
"Okay now Madhav. "
"What are we playing?"
"My death game." Divya muttered under her breath and was lucky that none heard other than Natasha and Nandini who were closely observing her.
"So we will call out a few names, you are to tell us, that if these girls were to ask you on a date would you go or not?" Madhav sat still for a moment and nodded his head as each of the boys brought out different names.
