Life is so unpredictable, and the only scripts that work out are the ones that are used in films and series, because while dealing with real life nothing works, big plans fail, all the dialogues that you would have ever thought would go to fail. The kind of Hi that you would practice a millions of times remains right there in your mind and the actual happenings are either too sweet or hopeless and haphazard.

As Divya picked up the call and Nandini's dad called out for someone to open the door, she took it upon herself to open the door.

And that was how they met once again after a year, with him shrugging off the rain from his t shirt, his bag hanging on his one shoulder like always, however this time the extra fat of his body wasn't there, he had grown too thin, however his teasing smile and taunts right there where it would always be.

"Yes Jignesh, no she she is sleeping, you tell me what is it?" Divya opened the door and walked back in simply, it didn't really occur to her that she was to say hi to them or welcome them, she just walked in. Behind her she could hear them talking to uncle as she explained to Jignesh what all he could get and sat down on the sofa once again.

"Yes, just get a pair of changing clothes, sports shoes are a must, an umbrella or a wind cheater. And if you could then get something to eat."

"Why are you telling him to get something to eat?" Nandini's mom chidded her as Divya gave her a quizzical look while Nandini argued with her in her half sleepy state.

"Obviously he should, what will he eat then, we aren't supposed to feed everyone there."

At that very moment Madhava and Manav walked in. Manav went off to keep his bag at a side and to occupy the seat as Divya hung up the call and shook hands with him saying him a bright Hi.

She then turned towards Madhav who was smiling brightly at her, a little awkward as to what would be more appropriate. Divya took it upon herself and first shook hands with him and then enveloped him in a hug.

"Hi Madhav, I missed you!!"

"Same here yaar, it's been so long."

Divya smiled at him and sat back, her heart was doing summer salts, what was it that she was even supposed to feel. He still looked so good, and cute and irritating at the same time. But she decided it was better to be indifferent to him else the whole trip would end up with them being the target of the group.

"What was Jignesh talking about ?" Nandini enquired

"He wanted to know what all things he needs to get, I have told him the majority of it and the rest I told him we will tell him later on." Divya answered and sat back beside Nandini. For a moment the room feel into utmost silence, with Divya fiddling with her phone, Nandini still sleeping on the sofa and Madhav and Manav being seated on the chairs with Manav's eyes first assessing Divya and then Madhav, than going back to Divya and then back at Madhav.

It would have become a full fledged awkward scene, however Nandini's mom saved them from all the awkwardness as she walked into the room,

"So who all are going to eat what?"

"Aunty we are here for Pav Bhaji. I don't know about Divya, I never invited her here." Madhav teased.

"Well news flash Madhav, I don't really need your invitation to be here."

Madhav smiled at Divya, the way he always did while he knew that he was surely ruffling her feathers, teasing her, pissing her off.

"Divya leave him, you know how he likes to tease you." Nandini's mom pacified her glaring at Madhav who was smiling like that of a kid. Soon conversations began to fall in with Madhav and Manav, teasing Nandini on how she could at least get them all a cup of tea, with them being the guest and how she should offer them at least a bit of tea or water.
