Hello Lovely Readers,

For all of us School, College, getting a Job and than getting married is something that seems like  a cycle of life. However each of these phases in life are so rewarding, exhausting and something that we could never go back to.

A time in school once lost is lost forever, A college fest or the freshers once lost is lost for ever. every one says that the college days are always the best of your life... I agree and this is so because that's the last phase of our life where we were devoid of reality.

the time post our college and school, when the real life and responsibilities begin is something really difficult to be put into words. My character from all the stories have been from different parts of life, but I feel the most justice that I have ever done to any character that would be to Divya and Madhav.

The Story of Last Goodbye would be of any college going student in Mumbai, a story that talks about college fests, college politics, finding our identity, falling in love, having crushes and most of all getting that amazing group of friends that everyone ever talks about.

I started this story during the lockdown, when I had lost onto my college life right in its prime months, a few months away from graduating it was as if someone had given me a fruit to eat and when I could actually understand how was I to eat and enjoy it they had snatched it away saying this was it. At that time I thought of writing a story of what all might have happened if things were different, what if I was to meet someone like Madhav in college, what if I had got a few friends like Nandini, Natasha, Simran, Dev, Atharva, Rishi and Aman? what would I have done than?

It took me two more years to finish that story, for each of them had a story of their own, but What Divya and Madhav had was different. At times I wonder what was it that Madhav and Divya really had between them?

Did Madhav Liked Divya? Or were they those kind of friends who were just too close to seem like they were interested in each other.

At times I even wonder what if the lockdown wouldnt have happened in this story atleast, would their story had been different? How would have that Monday Morning been like to walk back in college and sit for lectures and get to know each other more?

But Divya was just like any college going girl, a girl who was walking into adulting, Life had so much for her, but to understand, accept and move ahead was what would be better.

As for Madhav, I wish I would have got a chance to explore this character a lot, there was a lot on him to be understood for him to speak about... a Marwari boy who would fight for a different way of living, a battle that one knew would be losing from the day one. At times I wished his parents of brothers understood him, let him be and have his life... may be than he would have a much better understanding to life.

But as the story came to an end I realized one thing that their story wasn't going to end just like that. the group had so much more to go about in their life, if these were a real life story I would like to know what do you all think of them and how their life would have turned out to be?

But above all, thanks a lot for bearing with me for staying back here and reading this story ahead, for loving the characters and accepting them.

And above all I hope you all get to say that Last Good bye to your loved ones, having to miss on that one can be painful, and I hope that if you have missed out on that chance, may the suffering would lessen with the beautiful memories of them.

As well do let me know your views on the story, which character did you guys loved a lot...and what was it that you were expecting of this story. If not in comments you can surely slide into my DMs I would love to know.

This is the end to yet another story, I hope you enjoyed this journey with me.

Thanks a ton .

Happy Reading.
