Her hands shivered as she handed over the Rolex watch back to him. she so wanted to keep it with herself just for a few more minutes, may be till the time he would fall asleep, so that it would stay with her for all the little while till he would be reminded about it yet again. But she couldn't. He was persistent the same person he had always been, and they had eyes around them. she was not supposed to have this watch in her hand in the very first place; but then nor was she supposed to act this emotional as well. she knew there was no going ahead with this...whatever that this was, but she did. She took it ahead in her own imaginary world when she knew she was walking on the path which had a diversion ahead... such that it would never meet again.
As the watch landed in his hand, she found herself saying "cant I keep it with me till morning?" her voice sounded so weird to her own ears. she wondered why the hell she was behaving the way she was. This was so stupid and just so not her.
"No, I might leave it with you, I don't want to lose this one." And then he was gone, while the rest continued with their work, she took hold of her blankets and sat back in the seat that she had so successfully got for herself. With in just 2 hours things would change, they will be back to their regular lives she will have to go back to being the same Divya Chavan that she was three months back, whereas Madhav... she didn't knew what and who he was before they met but she knew now they knew each other to a complete different level then the one she had known him for the first time.
Taking up the pillow that Nandini offered to her, Divya laid down as Nandini came and slept beside her, the lights turning off, as Divya peeped from above Nandini's head, where Madhav now slept already in a deep slumber. Divya knew he won't wake up in the morning...none would yet she wished someone did, somehow he did wake up to bid her bye, to promise her that she would still have a friend that she had now found, and as sleep took over her, Divya felt herself smiling... the small clippings of the day they met and the things that happened after that running through her thoughts like that of a movie, and she was glad these three months happened, she didn't knew what would the future had for her, but this was just perfect irrespective of what ever it was.
