Two days later on Saturday Divya walked through the corridors of the college as everyone eyed her. There weren't many known faces as it was a saturday and it was just 10am all whom she knew would be coming to college by afternoon. Hence she didn't really expect anyone to meet her. But the constant attention was making her irritated and conscious and to add to it was the burning heat of March.

Divya soon reached the room where she was to go for her first ever meeting of DLLE, a committee associated with the university of Mumbai that looked into the development of the students, every year they are to make a project be a part of a few competitions and then at the end of the year they would receive 10 marks. Those 10 marks were the ones that had got Divya here and then there was a beneficial point that she would have got additional marks in the Student of the year.

As Divya took her seat she thought how far away it seemed now that she thought of the student of the year, the Annual day and everything. The IV had been an amazing escape that made her forget everything, it helped her heal and move on from all that was eating her up.

The meeting took place for exactly an hour with the professor explaining to them about the rules, their project etc. once that was done she was walking out of the room when one of her juniors approached her... "Divya you look stunning in this outfit, is it your birthday?"

"Thank you , but no it's not my birthday, I am scheduled to meet one of my friends for brunch and later on for lunch today, I was just leaving for that."

"Ohh, I have never seen you like this...Indian yes but never this" Divya smiled, the two girls walked down the stairs as she adjusted her blue denim jacket.

"Yeah, this seems to grab a lot of attention, so usually I try not to wear such clothes to college. I remember once I had worn a top and joggers everyone had their eyes on me, obviously it was comfortable like hell but then it would irritate me for people ogled, but then I gave up and I was like to hell with people I would wear what I like and come to college the way I like."

"Same, I never gave much thought to it, hence these boots and all." Divya smiled at her. She was about to say something when her phone rang. It was a notification but got her attention without any further ado.

"Where are you?" It was Madhav, the way Divya's heart lurched out and a smile spread across her face, Divya thought people might find her to be silly.

"where are you headed to ?" She asked her junior, ignoring the text for a while.

"Ohh you continue I am waiting for Falguni, the moment she comes we are leaving for lunch." Divya nodded her head and bid her bye, however she thought of the irony of time. She was going out for a brunch date while her junior was now going to have lunch... how different their world was, where for Divya the day had just begun there were students who were going to have their lunch already, they were ready with their assignments set and work done, whereas she wasn't even sure how her day was going to proceed, what they were going to do etc.

Walking into the railway station, Divya pulled out her phone and texted, "I am at Charni road station"

"Ohh great, wait for me I am about to reach."

"But I am going to meet a friend, so I won't be there in college today."

"Ohh, will you be coming later on?" Divya took a pause before she replied back, she wondered if she would come back to college, especially after what had happened a day before, she wanted to meet Madhav, but she was as well hesitant, it was difficult to meet him, be around him especially when there were many other girls around him.

"I am not sure, maybe we will meet on Monday."

"Ohh okay, enjoy."

Divya typed back a thanks and plugged in her earphones as she thought of the afternoon a day before. She thought it would have been better if she had not come to college at all. Or maybe it was for her betterment that she did come to college.
