Ever since William heard all about my conversation with his mother yesterday, he's been planning on teaching me to be a proper royal; not that I needed it he said but it was a helping point to achieve and help the queen change her husband's mind.
We agreed to practice whenever we finish our daily duties and have some free time, it won't take a lot of effort like the knight practice but I have to concentrate to have the perfect posture and do the right thing at the right moment. I'm not that clueless about it since my mother is already a royalty and tried too many times to count to teach me everything she knows but I didn't pay attention because I always wanted to become a knight and spent my days with my father, so I basically know all the small things in being a lady.
We're currently on the balcony on the third floor with a cup of tea and a cute little pot, there's an art in pouring tea the right way apparently. I've ben hearing William tell me 'you're going too slow', 'slow down', 'it's going to spill it out', "watch out not to burn yourself' for the past ten minutes; well excuse if I just want to drink my tea while it is still hot and certainly not make a show out of it for the audience on stage.
"Look to be honest I don't care if I'm doing it right, can I drink it before it becomes ice cold please?" I was literally pleading him to have a rest, my arm hurts from carrying the weight of a full tea pot.
"Fine do it one last time to fill your cup and you're done. You did a great job, I'm proud of you for perfecting the art of pouring tea," He joked and sat next to me to enjoy our afternoon. "Oh and I think your letter should be already with your mother and her response will arrive tomorrow." Now that is some real speed, back at my town we used to send a letter to someone at the other end of the place and it took the mailman a week to bring us back the response.
I didn't write much in my letter in case it fell in the wrong hands or the king decided to have a look at it. I gave her all the updates she needed at the train station last time I saw her about myself, Jason and my life here at the castle plus how did my training go. I even wrote her a secret message about my new relationship with William, hopefully she still remembers the language we created to talk between us in public. I added some questions for her, I wanted to know how is she spending her days and if there were any new at the town or any new traces of the revolution. I wish I knew more about these guys movements.
"Thank you so much for helping me talk to my mother when you don't have to do such thing."
"It's fine besides I wish I could get to know her personally, she seemed like a great woman." Hearing him talk this positively about my mom makes my heart flutters, he might be trained to talk nicely all the time but the person talking to me right now is the real William not the prince he was shaped into since birth.
We talked all afternoon about tomorrow's schedule and some random stuff to get to know each other more. His favorite color is the green of the forests, he likes to sleep with open windows and open curtains to have a great view to look at when he wakes up and have his lungs filled with fresh air.

"I won't be able to help you so much in this section since I'm a prince and all I have to do is choose the color of my suit, shirt and tie but you have an amazing sense of style so you should be good. I'll take you to the tailor's workshop and there we have a computer where you can start matching the right pieces together and he'll mark your progress." Welcome to the second day of training on becoming a royalty. In today's episode I'll be learning the proper way to dress for the job, it feels like a joke since the royal family never leaves the castle and when they have a public event a special stylist comes with an already prepared outfit for them. I guess I have to learn how to dress myself on the rest of the days at the castles when I have nothing to do and sit at the woman hamam.
