JASMIN MARTINEZ

Italy is fucking beautiful. The environment is so peaceful, the people are so kind, and not to mention the amazingly delicious food they serve.
We were in the car on our way to the hotel that Xavier had booked for us. I yawned as I looked outside to see the sunset.
"I wish we could stay here forever." I breathed.
"Already?" He chuckled.
"Yeah." I looked towards him.
"How far is the damn hotel?" I asked.
"Patience my flower patience." He cooed.
"Well, I don't have any." I threw a hand in the air.
"Too bad." He shrugged.
"I swear to god if the hotel isn't good, I will actually kill you."
"Yeah, about that..." He trailed off.
I punched him on his arm and he yelped. "What? You couldn't just pay a little extra and get a decent hotel?"
Look at me being a bougie bitch.
"It's a great hotel, but I don't think you would like it."
"Why wouldn't I like it?" I asked. "My standards aren't that high considering my past relationship." I snickered and we burst into laughter.
"You were one naive dumb bitch huh?" He said midway laughing.
"Fuck off." I rolled my eyes. "What hotel?"
"Your Ex's." He covered his face immediately.
"You fucking dickhead. You couldn't get any other hotel?"
"They were all sold out. Apparently, everyone's coming to Italy right when we want to go." He tried to clarify. But, I was still fuming. "It's just a hotel, Jasmin."
"You better have gotten the best suite then." I huffed.
"Of course, babe."
We arrived at the hotel and stepped out of the car. The driver picking our luggage and taking it inside as the velvets come and open the door for us to go into the hotel.
Xavier did all the check-in shit while I looked around.
The white and gold theme hotel was dazzling to look at. Everything was luxurious and very eye-catching. The walls displaced large paintings. The main floor was very spacious but still had enough seating for everyone and was huge. The seat I was sitting at was fucking comfortable as fuck. I leaned back and closed my eyes.
My thoughts instantly going back in time. I recall the day Chase told me he had finalized the deal for this exact hotel. He tried to shrug it off but I knew deep down he was really happy. At that moment, I loved him more. I loved how determined he was. He wasn't a person to go brag in front of others for all the money he has. He was very humble.
