After he was buried people stood around talking and one by one they began to leave.
"Are you going with your dad or Greyson to pick up your car?" Mick asked.
"I don't know, I don't want to bother Greyson so I'll probably just go with my dad. She nodded softly and pulled me in for a hug.
"I have to go, I love you," she whispered.
"I love you too," these girls really are my sisters, I don't know what I would do without them.
"I have to go too, my boss expects me back at the hotel," Kate said with a frustrated sigh. I think she actually likes her boss, she just won't admit it. She hugged me and left, then Emma and her sister, Emily, walked up.
"Sweetie, I'm sorry about your brother," Emily pouted. I honestly never liked her. She's a total pick me girl and always got on all of our nerves.
She's a boyfriend stealer too, every crush Emma has ever had. Emily would go after him too. She'd sometimes do it to the rest of us too. She tried to steal Jace and I honestly wish she had succeeded, but that's another story.
"Thanks Emily," I tried not to sound bitter.
"He was like a little brother to me too," she whined. Ok now I just want to punch her in the face. She always used to bitch about my brother being around, and she never actually talked to him.
I just stared at her trying so hard not to go off on her. I'm not going to do that right now, not in front of my brother's grave. So instead I just gave her a tight smile and turned to Emma.
"Love you, thank you for coming with me," I wrapped her in a hug. She hugged me back and sighed.
"Of course, I loved that kid," she said back. It's true. All five of us were really close growing up. He was a little brother to them and he loved having four big sisters.
We said our goodbyes and Emma left too. I just turned and looked at his grave. Greyson walked up to me and slipped his hand into mine. He brought my hand up to his lips and kissed it.
"I'll give you a ride back to your car." He said softly.
"Hey sweetie, I have to go, something came up at work, I probably won't be home for a couple of days. Will you be ok getting home?" My dad jogged up with his phone up to his ear.
"Yeah, I'm going to ride with a friend of mine," I replied. He looked over at Greyson and looked him up and down, then over at me. A small smile appeared on his face.
"I'm Mike," He said, extending his hand.
"Greyson," he replied, taking my dad's hand and shaking it.
"You take care of her," he said pointing at Greyson then at me. Greyson nodded and my dad walked over to his car.
Now it was just me and Greyson. I stared blankly at Kayden's grave.

A bright happy boy, a loving son, and a caring brother.Greyson stood behind me and wrapped his arms around me. I felt his lips brush against my neck very lightly before he placed a kiss at the base of my neck.
I turned around and buried my head in his chest, wrapping my arms around his waist. I breathed in his scent of evergreen and oak.
I held onto him tightly, no longer able to hide the tears streaming down my face. He stroked my back gently and kissed my forehead.
"Let it out," he whispered softly. I sobbed into his chest and he just held me there. "Come on," he said as he picked me up and carried me over to his car.
