When I wake up, I feel hay underneath me. I sit up I look around and see Sylvie, the two of us reaching for the other, to make sure they're real. Once we grab the others forearm we hear wind whistling and thunder rumbling. It isn't until I stand up that I notice we're in a bus. I follow Sylvie as we make our way to the front. We end up having to bust out the front window to get out, when we look around there is a large grey and purple cloud coming toward us, "what is that?" Sylvie looks back to me, having slide off the hood first.
"Nothing good," I shake my head as I slide off the hood. "Come on," I grab Sylvie's hand before we start running. As we run the cloud catches up with us, but there is a flash of green before it retreats, but only for a moment before it comes after us again.
Sylvie and I look around, trying to find away out, before we hear a horn. We run as fast as our feet will carry us toward the vehicle. Diving into the car once we get close enough. Sylvie gets a look at the drive before I can, "you."
I adjust myself in the seat a bit before I notice who it is, "Mobius!" I shout, just happy my friend is alive and okay.
Mobius floors it and starts to drive away, "shut the door, we still got a situation here. And you two should be careful just jumping into a strangers car like that."
"Yeah, not the time."
As we drive away some of the cloud behinds to move around and in front of us, "watch out!" Sylvie shouts as she points toward the large cloud like stream.
"I see it, I see it," Mobius nods, trying to focus on driving.
"Really? You're driving right toward it."
"God, you really are one of you." Eventually the monster gives up and stops chasing us. "Im sorry," Mobius looks over to me. "All this time, I really believed we were the good guys."
"Annihilating entire realities, orphaning little girls, classic hero stuff.." Sylvie rolls her eyes.
"Well, I guess when you think the end justify the means, there's not much you won't do."
I take a deep breath, "again, I stand by pretty much being forced. You agree with almost anything when the alternative is death."
"By the way, you did some annihilating too," Mobius looks back to Sylvie.
"I did what I had to do," Sylvie shakes her head.
"Can you both just stop?" I look between Sylvie and Mobius, "everyone did what they had to do, or what they thought they had to do. Unfortunately, we can't fix that, but we can stop the TVA from continuing."
"How did you two get here, anyway?" Mobius looks between both of us.
"We pruned ourselves. I don't know about Sylvie, but I thought we might be able to find Loki. That storm, that thing, probably already got him."
"You really believe that?"
"It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters right now is getting out of here and finding out who's behind all of this."
"Great, how do we do that?"
Sylvie takes a deep breath, "we turn around."
"Turn around? What, and go back to the angry cloud?"
"Yeah, I think it might be the answer. We're going back to it."
