You approached the building, another bland day of work it looked like. Or so it seemed. You stepped right in to Inarizaki's airport, the airport having a new reputation on the news, a rather mixed feeling one. Some say that Inarizaki could be considered dangerous, others might tell you now it must have great pilots for making it out of that lightening storm alive. You hoped everyone could say the later was true, though you weren't sure yourself. It was the storm's fault, the lightening came down and struck the plane, not the plane's malfunction.
But if the plane was built better it wouldn't have been as bad. Some would say.
The plane's almost crash was mostly last week's news, people moved on to the next big thing. The next big thing being some celeberty having a affair or something.
You had no trouble with that thought, being taken down from part of the spotlight by some big shot celeberty, going back into the dark, forgotten. A small smile planted it on your face, searching for your workaholic "manger". He was angrily walking turns you already, how he found you so easily in a big airport like this, you may never know.
"(Y/n)! You won't believe the day I've been having, and it's only eight 'o seven!" He said, frustration all over his voice. Papers were in his hands, flying like in his flapping hands. He stepped close to you, no other choice for him really, there wasn't much space for two people to stand by a entrance of a airport. "Anyway, I'm glad to see you again. You look well." He knew you had a couple days off, along with Suna it sounded like.
"Yes. I've been doing excellent." You say with a cheer. "My schedule?" You wait for him to give them to you, he gasps at the realization he hasn't already given them to you.
"Sorry. I'm usually on top of my game. But some annoying people like to ruin my day! Fucking Karens-"
"My papers?" You ask for them again before Ginjima can start on with his complaining once more.
"Right." Finally, his hand extends for you to take them.
You smile. "Thank you! Excuse me Ginjima, but I'll have to listen to your story some other time. I gotta get working."
Ginjima gives a quick nod. Slowly, his lips tug into a tight grin. "Are you sure you're alright, (Y/n)? You seem more happier than usual, did something happen while you were off work?"
"Ah- you see I got a boyfriend actually. But I really got to get running." I don't want to tell you anymore than that, please. You think, hoping he would excuse you from any unessential questioning.
"Yes. I'd never hold someone up from their work. I must get back to my desk. Have a good day, (Y/n)!" He called, walking away. "Congrats on the boyfriend!"
"You have a good day too! Thanks!" You parted ways, making way to the outside. Taking a quick glance at the paper, your crossed your fingers for the name of Suna to pop up. He didn't inform you he had night shift, he must be here or already on his way to the first flight.
That's when you read it, you had your first flight with Suna! The name on the paper made your heart skip a beat, walked through the crowd to get outdoors to the landing and taking off sight. Dodging lots of people, finding the door was a challenge all on its own, but you somehow manged.
You opened the door, sure enough he was there, standing by a plane talking, talking to someone. "Ojiro?" You said under your breath. A hand slid past the back of your shoulders, a blonde man towering over you. It was Atsumu, Osamu nowhere in sight which was odd seeing how they always seemed to be paired next to each other.
"Hey there, girly." He said, his accent filling your ears. It was all too familiar.
"Hey Atsumu." Is everyone gonna try and storm up a conversion with me on my first day back? They do know I'm uninjured, right? "What's up?"
