The work day was almost ever.

"Thank goodness. I'm pooped. I feel like dying." You say, you really did feel tired. But it was all worth it to spend extra time with Suna.

"You're the one who said to ask Kita to go back to work." Replyed Suna, who sat next to you while flying the plane.

You were fully aware of what you said then, but this was now, and now you were tired and readying for a long sleep and hunger for more food. "Got any banana nut bread on you?"

"While flying a damn plane? No. Never. Besides, why would you want to know? You said how much you hated me today." He sounded like he was joking, but his eyes looked hurt.

"I told you! I didn't mean to say that! I didn't mean... In the moment, maybe I did."

"So you do hate me?" Suna asked, wanting to confirm.

"No! I wouldn't have spent so much time planning for our second date if I were only to say I hate you. I don't, I like..." Here you were, starting to say stuff withing thinking, forgetting you shouldn't let your words slip. "You." You finished. "I like you." Blush filled your cheeks, his as well.

"Pff, I was only joking." Suna might've said that, but his eyes told you that he had his feelings hurt. It made you feel bad.

"I'm not... Not when I'm saying I like you..." Your gaze is stuck on the clouds and the patch of birds flying below you. Why won't those birds steer clear of the plane? I don't want to kill another! You thought rampantly. The blush wouldn't lighten on either of your cheeks.

Just awhile longer, awhile longer and you could escape. Funny how you were dying to spend time with your new found crush, and now no time could be soon enough to leave his side before you were to say something else you didn't mean. Guess that's how your feelings worked, for you.

Meanwhile you could always keep on gaining new little events for the date on Saturday. Today was a Wednesday, you still had time to come up with a complete idea, all finished and polished. Would he like it? Enjoy it? You inhaled. It'll be fine. You watched as the birds went out of your field of sight. They unknowingly did you and them a favor, including themselves a favor.

Thank goodness. You thought.

Your headphones started to buzz, a incoming caller. Someone was trying to contact you. A voice appeared within your headphones. The voice was fuzzy, you were could mange what they were trying their best to tell you.

"F-light I-1018I," The voice started. You looked at Suna, making sure you weren't crazy or wasn't losing your mind. Suna looked shocked as well, surprised glimpsed in his green eyes. "Th-There is warning of a u-up co-ming 'torm." The voice was slowly breaking off more and more. There was a sinking feeling in your chest. A warning of a upcoming storm? That was what they were trying to say to you, correct?

"Are they trying to tell us about...a storm? Like here? Now?" You ask Suna, concern dung deep into your eyes.

Suna only nodded, making your heart sink. What did the nod mean? You nervously asked yourself.

"It is con-firmed to lightning storm. Ste... of it i-f poss...able." The voice added.

Your eyes widened with worry. You've never flown in a lightning storm, nor did you dream of it a awful lot. Glancing back at Suna, he had a worried look in his eyes as well. What are the changes he's flown through one before if they had no route to escape the storm? What if the storm found them first? Your breathing labored.

"Suna? What does this mean? Is there a way around the storm..?" You ask quite a few questions, not enough to be answered and still not nearly enough to be said.
