"Nice guys always finish last." Sukuna said.
Yuuji turned around. "Why do you always bother me when I'm doing homework?" He asked. He was sitting at the kitchen table, when Sukuna suddenly walked up behind him.
"Just came down to get a snack." He looked through the drawers and found a bag of potato chips.
"Well go away, I'm busy." Yuuji tried to concentrate on his homework again. Why does it seem like Sukuna never does homework?
"Because I don't need to." Sukuna responded. Yuuji's eyes widened. "I read your mind right there didn't I?" He chuckled. "I never do any work unless it's necessary. And even then I'm still the top student." He bragged.
Then he pulled out a chair and sat down with Yuuji. "Anyways did you hear me, I said that nice guys always finish last."
Yuuji stopped writing. "Yeah I heard you the first time. But I just don't care."
"That attitude is exactly why you people aren't interested in dating you." Sukuna opened his bag of chips. "Nice guys are losers. And you're a nice guy Yuuji. That's why you'll always be second to me."
Yuuji got annoyed and threw his pencil at him. "Go away!" He yelled.
Sukuna walked away while eating his chips. "Have fun dying alone!"
Yuuji continued doing his homework. But he couldn't concentrate because he remembered Megumi's words. You're a nice guy Yuuji.
Then he shook his head. I already know that, he thought. I already know that people would rather date Sukuna instead of me.
I already know that when it comes to everything, even love, I can't beat him, Yuuji thought.

It was an hour after school had ended. Megumi was at his locker, getting his other textbooks to go home, when he saw Sukuna approach him.
"Ugh," Megumi turned to leave, but Sukuna used his arm to block Megumi's path. He smirked. "Megumi, it's good to see you! Perfect timing, I was just about to leave."
Megumi scoffed. "I had to talk to a teacher and it took a while. How about you? Why are you still here? Did you wait for me this entire time just so you could annoy me?"
"As much as I'd love to say yes that I've been waiting for you, I was actually here because of a student council meeting. I wouldn't have said yes to being class rep if I would've known how much work we have to do," he groaned. "But I'm glad you're here, since I have to ask you a question."
Megumi looked at him curiously. "A question? What it is it?"
He took a rose from behind his back. Where did he get that from, Megumi wondered. Sukuna handed him the rose and asked, "Will you go with me to the Autumn Formal?"
"No."
"Ouch." He took fake offense to the refusal. "A pretty boy like you doesn't like to dance?" He asked.
"No, it's not that I hate dancing. It's just that I'd rather go with somebody else." He looked down at his feet.
"Who?" He asked. Then he looked at him skeptically. "Don't tell me...Yuuji? You want to go with Yuuji?" Megumi blushed when Sukuna mentioned Yuuji's name.
He laughed. "No way? You like him? Yuuji? Out of all people?"
Megumi slammed his locker. "Well I like him more than you!"
Sukuna clicked his tongue. "Well that's a first. Looks like the only thing imperfect about you is your taste in men." Megumi scowled in response.
He leaned against the locker. "Anyways, even if you ask him, he'll never say yes. He's got a crush on...what's her name? I think it was Aiko from class 3. The point is, he already likes someone, so he won't go with you. You should just go with me." He suggested.
Megumi slumped a little. Yuuji liked another girl? Darn.
"Just because I can't go with him, doesn't mean I'll go with you!" He declared.
But Sukuna insisted. "Come on, Megumi. I can show you a good time. I'll dress up nicely for you. Plus we've got the same face so it'll be like you're dancing with him."
"Not with those tattoos all over your face," his face contorted in disgust. "I'm surprised the principal hasn't spoken to you yet."
Sukuna smiled. "Oh he has. But the principal is a little bitch so he lets me do whatever I want."
Then he got in close to Megumi's ear and whispered. "Besides, won't you be jealous that Yuuji's going to dance with another girl?" Megumi's eyes widened. "They're slow dancing, and he touches her waist, and he feels up on her-"
"Fine!" Megumi blurted out. "I'll go with you! But only if you promise not to bother me anymore."
"Alright, I won't bother you." Sukuna accepted. He didn't specify what counts as bothering, so I can still flirt with him, Sukuna thought. "Then we have a deal?" He held out the rose.
"Deal." Megumi took the rose from him and sniffed it. "Well, at least it smells good."
"And it'll never wilt. Just like my love." He said.
Megumi rolled his eyes. "And it's fake too. Just like your love."
Sukuna just laughed. "Not true. In fact I'll prove it to you by getting you a dozen roses at the school dance. You'll be the star of the night, and everyone, even Yuuji's girl, will be jealous of you."
Megumi started walking away, not wanting to listen to him anymore. "You're so annoying."
Sukuna waved. "See you babe! Make sure you dress up pretty for me!"
