It was 7:30 pm (19:30).  Megumi was waiting inside at his table looking for Sukuna.

They had rented a spacious event hall for the Autumn Formal. Lights were strung up on the walls, the tables were covered with white table clothes, each with a centerpiece in the middle. It was decorated rather basically, but also beautifully. There was a food station and a drink station at the back. The food was just served recently by a waiter, and since Sukuna didn't show up Megumi had to eat alone. The dinner period was already over, so now everyone was dancing on the dancing floor while an EDM song blared through the speakers.

He looked down at his watch. "What's taking him so long? If he wasn't going to show up, I never should've come." He scanned the room, looking for Sukuna. But he was also seeing if he could spot Yuuji, since Sukuna said that he would be coming.

But he also didn't really want to see Yuuji if he came here with his partner. Sukuna's words echoed in his mind. He already likes someone. Megumi put that thought that the back of his mind. Anyways, he came here with Sukuna. So where was he?

He remembered that the day before, Sukuna offered to give him a ride there and they could show up together, but Megumi refused. He didn't want his dad to make a fuss about seeing Megumi with a date if Sukuna picked Megumi up at his house, and he didn't want Sukuna to see his dad. So they arrived separately. Well, only one of them actually showed up.

"If he's not going to come, I'm just going to leave," Megumi got up. "I don't want to dance by myself. I don't even like this song." He walked to the entrance, about to leave when suddenly someone busted both of the doors wide open.

"I'm here!" Sukuna announced, loud enough so that he could be heard over the music. Everyone turned to look at him. Megumi rolled his eyes. He always had to be the center of attention wherever he went. Annoyingly, everyone started clapping for him.

He walked up to Megumi. "Did you miss me babe? Sorry I didn't come earlier, hope you aren't mad." Megumi realized that his words were slurring a little, and that he lacked a bit of co-ordination as he walked. Was he drunk? He really just showed up drunk?

"Ugh, what his name again?" Sukuna tried remembering. "Ah yeah, Hiro. Hiro get over here and give Megumi the roses!" He ordered. Another guy walked in the door, holding this giant bouquet of roses. He gave them to Sukuna.

"You can leave now Hiro, I don't need you anymore," he dismissed him, and Hiro left. And then Sukuna turned towards Megumi, a bit unstable. "You look good sweet cheeks. You should wear that more often," he gestured to Megumi's outfit.

"I'm only wearing it because it's a formal, I'm not going to wear it everyday," Megumi snarked.

"Haha, whatever," he stumbled to the side a bit, so he leaned on the wall for support. "Oh yeah here, a dozen roses! So now you can't call me a faker." But instead of just handing Megumi the roses, he took each one from the bouquet and threw it on Megumi. "It's like a flower shower, I'm showering you with my love." People looked at them while Sukuna was throwing roses at Megumi. This is so embarrassing, Megumi thought.

"See, didn't I tell you you'd be the center of attention?" He smirked. Then he grabbed Megumi's wrist and led him to the dance floor. While they were on the dance floor, the guy next to Megumi complimented him, "You look hot Megumi!"

But Sukuna got weirdly aggressive. He grabbed the guy by his shirt and yelled, "What did you say!? Are you hitting on my date?" And then he punched him in the face. He punched him so hard that his nose started bleeding.

"N-no I wasn't-" the guy tried denying, but Sukuna kept punching him and beating him up. Then he punched another guy to his left, and kicked a guy to his right. A giant fight erupted on the dance floor, but it was just Sukuna and a bunch of his friends beating people up. The DJ even had to stop the music so he could do damage control, but he ended up getting caught in it too.

Megumi pushed through the crowd, not wanting to see anymore of it. He walked out of the building to the backside of the parking lot and sat down.

"I never should've come." He said.
