I don't care who it's not fair for,
Right when it's not fair to me,
To sit right here and watch while
Everyone else pretends I can breathe. So no, I don't feel sorry for you
Or anyone else for that matter,
Because you all stood by and watched
While you knew I was here shattered.Just because a smile on my face
Might pass as a happy skit,
You can't have forgotten when
You saw the tears fall over it.I lie here awake at night
And remember when you said so,
That it is not fair to us when
You eventually become a no-show.But what you might not realize
Is that my foot is off the edge,
And when I finally drop,
You'll never get a second chance.A chance to say sorry and
Ask for all of your forgiveness,
It'll be too late for you when you know
That I was already witnessed.
