All along
My breath inside
It seems resilient
And yet it hidesSo tinder, so soft
It lays unmoving
Causing a problem
For my choosingThere it stays
In the tunnel
I beg it out
It starts to funnelDeeper and deep
It swallows us whole
I wish I tried
To live a soulSo this is it
My very death
My bittersweet
My loss of breath
