Buried underneath too many emotions
Always second guessing every good thing
Because insanity is an idea-faked notion.

A heart always meant to be broken
Because it feels a little too much
Overbearing it may have been called
Harsh phrases soon become a crutch.

If seen how a heart becomes broken
You would finally understand giving up
Too many attempts to feel whole again,
Some try to call it "down on your luck".

But never can a heart heal once broken,
One only has so many heart strings left.
You would think me shelled, weak and empty.
Most of you would just call me depressed.

Yes, this heart of mine is definitely broken.
