Obi x Zen's Sister!Reader: Bodyguard

-Your POV-

I'm finally home. I looked out the window and saw the castle I was tempted to run there, but it wouldn't have made much of a difference. I had left the castle for a while to get to know the people. I wasn't going to be crowned a legitimate princess until I was 20 and I turned 20 in 5 months. They brought me in so I could work on my manners ahead of time.

Izana always found me annoying. Mostly, because I wasn't all priss and proper like he was. He used to yell at me when I was bareback horse riding, when I played in the mud with the boys, when I ran around in pants and barefoot around the castle, and when I stole food from the kitchen.

To be honest, the last one was his fault. He said I couldn't eat my favorite cake anymore. So snuck in and stole it. For some reason, Zen thought I was cool and looked up to me. When I left he said he'd gather a team I'd be proud of before I got back. So I was excited to meet his additions.

The carriage stopped and I was about to run in and surprise Zen, but he was already at the gate. "(Y/N), it's good to see you again."

I tilted my head, Zen had grown so much. His voice got deeper. He got taller. I walked up to him and measured us, "When did you get so tall?"

He snickered a bit and I smiled. His smile was still the same, "You've been gone a while." He introduced me to his additions. "(Y/N), this is Kiki, Obi, and Shirayuki." I had met Mitsuhide before.

I could see the way he looked at Shirayuki. I could see the way she looked at him and how nervous she looked when she saw me. I could hear the tone of affection in his voice. This could only mean, "So this is your girlfriend then?"

They both froze and blushed like crazy. Mitsuhide and Kiki were trying to suppress their laughter and Obi downright laughed. He caught my eye the moment I saw him, especially his eyes. They were beautiful. I turned to look at Mitsuhide, "I remember you, you were always so uptight. I'm guessing you still are."

He laughed awkwardly, "Uh, I don't think I'm uptight am I?"

Obi immediately commented, "Yes you are."

Mitsuhide smiled at him, "Maybe, but I can still kick your butt any day." His face looked innocent his words were not.

I ended up walking to Kiki, "So what are you to my brother?"

Kiki answered, "I'm his aide along with Mitsuhide. Shirayuki is our herbalist."

I looked at Shirayuki and she was still red. Which explained why Kiki answered only for her. I walked over to Obi next, "Obi right? What about you?"

He bowed, "I'm many things, Miss. But, I'm your brother's messenger. It's a pleasure to meet you."

I giggled a bit, "I don't think you got the memo, but I don't do the bowing thing."

He chuckled a bit, "I know, it's just my nature."

I rolled my eyes, "Well you better stop. Anyway, they never answered me, are Shirayuki and Zen a thing or not?"

He snickered and whispered, "It's pretty obvious to everyone at the castle. They don't exactly hide it well."

I laughed a bit, "Aww, they're so cute though."

"I know right," He agreed.

Zen cleared his throat, "Anyway, (Y/N) Mitsuhide will take you to your room so you can get settled in. As far and Shirayuki and I go, we are romantically involved."

I smiled, "I'm happy you found someone. Shirayuki, we should hang out sometime."

She nodded a bit nervous, but it was obvious she was excited. "Sure. I'd love that."
