I wish I could sing you this song, but sadly I cannot. Pretend that I am, please. Close your eyes and you can choose how I look, how I sound, use your imagination. But it's me, I'm singing to you. Don't worry. Everything will be alright.

I'm happy you got my letter yestersay. I'm super duper smart, aren't I? If you hadn't found it, I would've had to use Plan B. Which was nonexistent.
The only thing that's putting a damper on this beautiful day is that we have school tomorrow. But we can still smile and be happy!! School is only for 7 hours. It seems like a long time, but really over the course of the day there is 17 hours to spend doing whatever you want. Spend those precious hours doing what makes you happy.
I don't know what makes you happy. Whether it's sleeping, writing, reading, or singing, do it if it makes you happy.
If I can help you be happy, then that's all the happiness I need.

Since I began to give Olivia letters, I have noticed sadness. It's all around me. In every person I pass, in all the run-down buildings in this town, and the very sky. Even on the clearest blue days I can feel its lonely vastness and see the suns despairing rays.
My eyes have been opened to all the sadness in this world, the very same sadness that's beginning to find its way into me.
