"Ken, your youngest sister will get married in a few weeks! When do you plan on giving me a daughter-in-law? how about grandchildren?"
Ken could feel his head ache, he wasn't interested in meeting women. The women that his sisters-in-law makes him meet are just women who are hungry for money and power. He couldn't even give them a second glance- he despised them.
He didn't react much when her brothers have invited their significant others home and he didn't really like their attitude and personality. He didn't like meeting desperate women- he feels sick to his stomach when he sees a woman trying so hard to seduce him.
Of course, he has experience in bed when he was in high school when he first discovered how good and how much pleasure he could get with sex but that was it- but a romantic relationship, no. He had never met someone that made him take a second look.
Love and Marriage was something that's sacred for him and his family. He won't marry someone just for the sake of it.
"I haven't met my once, mom. Please, don't pressure me. I'll find her soon enough." he said with his eyes closed. He desperately wants a drink.
As soon as Kaia Bello arrived in A Nation, she was holding her growling stomach that had been deprived of food.
She ate a lot, crying as she chewed on her food. She felt really sad and badly needed a drink- she wants to get drunk and forget everything.
She hailed a cab, "Good evening, sir. Can you take me to the best bar in the city?"
"Yes, ma'am." the driver said.
In the Centurion Bar, she saw that there was only a man sitting in the bar. She sat on the stool beside the man with really handsome back muscles. Once she was seated, she couldn't help but feel tears threatening to fall. She was really craving for Long Island Iced Tea but she knows that it would probably annoy the bartender if she ordered it since it takes a while to make and the place looked like it was packed.
"I'll have a martini, please." she told the bartender.
