On the way to the mall, he asked Kaia about her life. Kaia told him how she was born when her parents were already 53 years old and how her parents raised her showering her with a lot of love and have her try her hand at everything- music, technology, sports, self-defense, art, and business.

She also told him how her uncles were jealous of her father since he was the favorite of all of the siblings and was the most successful out of all four siblings. She then stiffened when she realized something.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Ken asked, glancing at her, worried.

"I have to go back to S Nation to get my documents to get married." she said.

"Don't worry, baby. I'll go with you, you don't have to be afraid.." he said, squeezing her hand reassuringly. "I'll handle our papers, okay?"

She slumped back in her seat and nodded, "Thank you."

She then asked him all about him and his family. He told her how he wasn't really close with his family and how he had an older brother and a younger sister. At a young age, he was taught how to handle the business so he couldn't really make a lot of friends and spend time socializing but he did have his fill of freedom when he was in college.

"Where did you study in college?" he asked.

"Here in A Nation." she smiled. "I studied a triple degree in M University."

He raised his eyebrows in surprise, "I studied in M University too."

She gasped and both of them laughed, "I guess we really are fated." Ken said, smiling.

She nodded with a smile, "I guess so."

Ken told her how his mother was bugging him to get married and have grandkids but he really wasn't interested in marriage before.

"Until you suddenly sat beside me in the bar, drinking a shit ton of alcohol." he said, chuckling. "When you looked at me, there was something about you- besides your beautiful crying face."

Kaia laughed, "Beautiful crying face? I doubt it."

They arrived at the mall; it was only filled with luxury brands. He planned on buying everything for her. When they got out of the car, they went through the VIP lounge, all of the staffs were bowing to Ken.

Kaia nudged his arm, "You're really known even at malls."

He smiled, "Baby, you have to know that you're marrying a really handsome and powerful man."

"That's a bit narcissistic thing for you to say."

He brought up their interlocked hands up to his lips and kissed it, "Sweetheart, look around. Tell me once you see someone who's more handsome than me."

Kaia pursed her lips. He really was the most handsome man that she had ever seen- she didn't need to look around to know that. She shook her head, "Alright. I believe you."

He grinned, "Alright. Where to first?"

Kaia looked up to him, "Underwear. It's the most important."

Ken chuckled, "Alright."

They walked slowly. She was glancing at different shops as they passed to see if she fancies any store to look at later.

"See anything you like?" he asked.

She shook her head, "Not yet but we can go in a few stores later, right?"

"Yes, baby." he said. He liked that she would always ask- it makes him want to protect and care for her more. She was so sweet, kind, and polite that he would forget how much of a badass she was last night with a gun.

He couldn't believe at how fast he had fallen for this beautiful girl. He was constantly smiling and at ease with her around- she could easily make him laugh and secure.

She stopped walking and tugged his hand gently, "Hmm?"

She was looking up at him, her dark brown orbs were looking at his gray ones. "Should I call you baby too?" she asked shyly.

"Do you want to?" he asked, tracing circles on her hand and kissed the top of her head. "You can call me anything you want. We're getting married soon anyway."

She then started thinking and looked back at him, "Love? Should I call you Love?"

Ken suddenly started feeling things in his stomach and chest- he was really happy. He smiled at her, "You would really call me love?"

She nodded and smiled, "Since it's my first time giving love a try."

She didn't know whether whatever they have could develop into love but she was hopeful. The attraction towards each other was evident and both of them know that- she didn't want to tell him that she didn't really believe in love at first sight but she was being truthful.

She really was giving love a try this time. She wanted to be happy- and right now, Ken was the one who's been making her feel secure and content- she was happy.

He grinned and kissed her hands again. "Do you know that your words are always dripped with honey, baby?"
