The morning came, Kaia woke up and felt something near her stomach. She held it while squinting her eyes, it was the box of her new phone with a sticky note on the front written by Ken.

Good morning, baby!

This is your new phone with your new number. I already saved my number inside. I'm in the office now. How was your sleep?

Text me when you're awake. I miss you already.

She smiled and chuckled. She opened the box and saw her new phone. When she pressed the side button, she jolted from shock as she saw that the phone had his picture as the lock screen.

She burst out laughing. She saw the time and saw that it was already 10 in the morning. Should she cook lunch for him?

In the Creed Group Headquarters,

Everyone in the meeting room was stiff after Ken had just fired another employee during the meeting. The room was so silent that you could hear a pin drop.

The buzzing of a phone could be heard. The employees looked among themselves with wide eyes to check who was the next one to get laid off.

To their surprise, Ken pulled out his phone and his stiff and clenched features immediately softened. Jeremy and Nick, his assistants could see the caller ID, Kaia. He stood up and went outside of the meeting room and answered the call.

"Hi, my love! Is it a good time?" she asked. "Are you busy?"

"No! I'm not doing anything important right now. How was your sleep, baby?"

"It was good." she chuckled. "Did you go home last night?"

"No, I slept on the couch." he said. She gasped- it was the reaction he expected and wanted; he was chuckling silently.

"You could've slept beside me, love. It's your house anyway." she said.

"Then, can I sleep beside you tonight?" he asked, anticipation was killing him. Please, say yes was what he could only flow in her head- chanting it over and over.

"Of course, love." she said. "Anyway, I called you because I cooked lunch and . . . I'm in the lobby of your building."

He raised his brows and grinned. "Stay there, baby. I'll be right there! You should've told me you were coming."

She chuckled, "Then it wouldn't be a surprise."

He chuckled, "I'll end the call now, okay?"

"Okay." she said before he ended the call. Ken texted Jeremy to continue the meeting without him.

Ken went to the elevator and pressed the button for the lobby. When the elevator doors opened, he saw Kaia wearing a plain black tea tucked in a high waist beige trousers. She looked up and saw Ken, smiling. She waved at him and he jogged towards her and hugged her tight, "There's my beautiful girl."

She chuckled, "I made lunch."

The receptionists and the guards were shocked to see their boss act like that. Ken held her hand, "I know. I'm starving."

Ken guided her to his private elevator and pressed for his floor. He hugged her, "Did you like your phone?"

She nodded, "Yes, I love the pictures too." she chuckled.

He laughed, "Good!"

"What's for lunch, baby?" He asked as the elevator doors opened.

Kaia smiled at him, "French! I prepared French Onion soup, Boeuf bourguignon, Tartiflette Savoyarde, and Quiche Lorraine."

Ken smiled, excited to eat with Kaia. Ken helped Kaia serve the food and nudged her arm, "Baby, what type of citizenship do you have?"

"American." she said. "I've stayed here with my parents from high school to college. Anyway! I asked our trusted butler to have my documents air delivered. I don't want to take too much of your time next week."

Ken was surprised and excited. "Then we can have a civil wedding first once your documents arrive but I still want to go to S Nation and visit your parents."

Kaia was surprised and smiled. She nodded, "They would like that."

Both of them were eating when suddenly Ken's door was being knocked on.

"Mr. Creed, someone's hacking in our system." Nick said after opening the door.

Kaia stood up while chewing, "Let me." she said as she sat on Ken's chair as she started looking at what's happening with the system. She was chewing as she was outsmarting and blocking out the hacker. Not less than a few minutes later, she grabbed a paper and pen and wrote something.

She patted Ken's back, "Done."

Nick's phone rang and it was Jeremy telling him that the issue has been magically resolved. He stared at his boss' woman in amazement.

Ken looked at his badass fiancée, he was in awe of her. "Baby."

Kaia drank from the bottled water she brought, "Hmm?"

Kaia gave Ken the paper. Kaia finished drinking, "It's the IP Address and address of the hacker."
