Sarah and Rome couldn't help but feel like they were seeing a different person in front of them and not Ken. Kaia was eating just fine. Sarah tapped Kaia's hand.

"Kaia, what did you let my brother eat or drink? He's really different that it scares me." she said, shuddering at Ken.

"Nothing." she said. She looked at Ken, "Are you acting different than usual, love?"

Ken glared at Sarah and coldly ordered, "Stop weirding Kaia out, Sarah."

Rome let out a sigh of relief as he felt the familiar coldness. "He's okay, sweets."

Sarah chuckled, "Kaia, come to our intimate engagement party on Friday night."

Kaia smiled and nodded. Ken was devouring the roasted branzino with appreciation but was interrupted by his phone ringing, making him scowl.

He pulled out his phone and answered, "What." he answered, slightly annoyed.

He looked at Kaia and said, "I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

He ended the call. "Do you want to come with me, baby?"

"Where?" she asked as she finished the last scoop of rice on her plate.

"I have a client meeting. I can buy you dessert there so you won't be bored." he said.

"Do you want me to iron your coat?" she asked.

He shook his head, "It's alright. I don't need it, baby. You don't have to change. We'll go straight home anyway."

She nodded as she drank her glass of water. Sarah pulled out her phone, "Kaia, give me your phone number."

"I haven't taken care of that yet but this is my iMessage and Facetime email." she said as she saved her email in Sarah's phone.

Ken heard that and told Jeremy to take care of a few things for Kaia and get the requirements for them to get married.

Sarah and Rome bid their farewell and went on their way. Kaia put the dishes in the dishwasher and the other dishes on the sink.

"Leave it. I'll have it cleaned." he said as he pocketed her phone. "Let's go, baby."

Ken told Kaia that he would be discussing the buyout of the Italian production company. He wanted to buy it at a good price and he would be going to negotiate with them today.

Kaia and Ken arrived at the restaurant in the city. Ken had his arm wrapped around Kaia's shoulder which shocked everyone who knew him. The clients who were from Italy stiffened when they saw Kaia. They stood up at the sight of Kaia.

Ken saw his two clients standing up. He was confused and realized that they were looking at Kaia. Kaia smiled at them and they bowed to her, "Lady Kaia Blanco-Bello." they said in unison.

She smiled, "A pleasure to meet you."

The two also greeted Ken with a lot of respect and bowed as well, "Mr. Creed."

Once they were all seated down, "Lady Kaia, how are you acquainted with Mr. Creed?" Mr. Caselli asked.

Kaia grinned at him, "Ken Creed is my fiancé. Please do take care of him well, Mr. Caselli and Mr. Peralta."

They both looked at Kaia, confused. "You're vouching for the Creed Group?"

Kaia smiled and nodded, "Of course! My future husband is a very capable man."

Ken smirked holding Kaia's hand and was resting their hands on her silky thighs. He loved hearing her compliments and calling her husband. He leaned on her ear, "Do you want to help me convince them?"

Kaia smiled. After she blinked, she was in business mode. She had a very strong aura around her, smiling at the two businessmen in front of her. She looked at the contract and handed it to them.

"Are you working for Creed Group now, my lady?" he asked.

Kaia smiled at him and nodded. She was indeed working for him- free of charge. She looked at the two who were on edge- she already knew that they were about to haggle with Ken about the buyout price but since she showed up, they couldn't say anything.

They walking on the edge of a cliff as Kaia looked at them. They knew that they owed her a lot for conning her.

The amount that Ken told her that he wanted them to agree on was 4 million dollars. She was aware of that.

"The last time we met, we talked about the price, right?" Mr. Peralta asked, feeling cold beads of sweat form on his forehead as he watched the hungry eyes of the couple that was in front of him and his business partner. The air was thick with a cold, strong and demeaning aura from the two.

"8 million, right?" Mr. Caselli chuckled nervously.

"Mr. Peralta and Mr. Caselli, you know that the price is too much, right?" Kaia asked, smirking.

When the waiter came, she glanced at him. "Hi, please give us a glass of Brachetto d'Acqui each and I'll have a chocolate mousse."

Ken was amused as he watched his woman change once again from being a sweetheart to a strong, demeaning woman.

She looked at the two and smirked, "Mi devi." (You owe me.)

"Non mi dimentico." (I don't forget.) she said. "Cinquanta milioni di." (50 million.)

"Puo pagarmi adesso." she said, looking at the two guys. (You can pay me now.)

She smiled, "Unless."

Ken looked at the three of them. He didn't know what Kaia was saying but he could see that the color on the two businessmen's face were gone.

"Le sto offrendo un'ultima possibilità di redenzione." (I'm offering you one last chance at redemption.)

"Te ne offriamo un milione di." (We're offering you one million.) she said, smirking at them.

The two nodded hurriedly and signed the contract. She smiled brightly as the wine and her mousse came. She offered her glass to the two businessmen who felt a big weight lifted from their chests.

They knew that it wasn't only 50 million dollars that they conned from LN Corporation. They lost a few billion from being conned by these two but to Kaia, 50 million was nothing. Now, it was his uncles' problem.

She wasn't completely heartless. She would've told them to sign the contract over without getting any in return but she was feeling generous at the moment. The two businessmen were really thankful and left after finishing the wine, they even paid for the bill of the table, leaving as fast as they could.
