This was the first time that Ken was shopping with a woman and he cannot believe that this was his first time also to go to a Costco. Kaia was happily getting a lot of food.

Ken couldn't help but scowl at the men who couldn't help but check Kaia out. He took off his coat and wrapped it on her waist, "Wear this."

Ken thought that the next time Kaia wanted to go grocery shopping, he should rent the whole place so no one ogled at his wife.

Kaia was confused but she let him anyway. He looked at Kaia who filled up the cart, "Baby, how many do you need to buy?"

Kaia looked at him, "Breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a week, love."

Ken just chuckled. He did want her to eat more, she looked really thin. "You must have a good metabolism."

She trembled slightly from the memory of being locked up and not being able to eat, "I didn't get to eat for the past few weeks after my parents passed away."

Ken didn't ask more since she looked really scared and sad. He slid an arm around her waist and pulled her to him. Both of them side-hugging each other silently.

Kaia felt warm and secure in his arms. She turned around and hugged him tight.

Ken stroked her hair, "Do you want to talk about it?"

She shook her head, "It's not a good memory to talk about."

"Alright, baby. I'll go pay for the groceries so we can go home." he said.

They paid for the groceries and went to the condo to be greeted by a woman in her mid-20's- her eyes went wide when she saw Ken holding Kaia's hand.

"Sarah?" Ken asked in disbelief. "What are you doing here?"

"You. . . you really have a girlfriend?" she asked in disbelief. She shook her head; her brother was too mean and cold. Although her brother has a lot of money, he wouldn't ever treat a girl right because he was an asshole.

Her fiancé told her that he saw Ken with a woman and they were being really sweet with each other in the jewelry store. She didn't really believe it until now that she saw it for herself. She then looked at their hands and saw the rings that they were wearing.

"Kaia, baby, this is my younger sister, Sarah Creed." Ken said. "Sarah, this is my fiancée, Kaia Bello."

"That's a really pretty name! Hi!" Sarah squealed and hugged Kaia.

Kaia chuckled, "Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you." she said.

"You're so gorgeous! I didn't know that my brother had a girlfriend! Are you in college?"

Ken laughed. Kaia blushed, "I'm 25 years old."

"What!" Sarah gasped. "I'm 25 too! Why do I look so much older than you?"

"I think it's the height." Kaia said, chuckling. Ken choked on his water that he was drinking.

Sarah laughed, "You're too cute.

"What brings you here?" Ken asked.

"Is it wrong for me to want to visit you?" Sarah asked. She turned to Kaia and grinned, "I want to get to know my sister-in-law!"

"Maybe tomorrow, Sarah. She just arrived in the country last night. She still has jet lag." Ken said.

Kaia shook her head and smiled at him, "I don't mind, love."

Ken couldn't help but smile whenever she calls him love.

"Alright, I'll go to my study to work. Call out if you need anything." he said as he walked towards her and kissed the top of her head.

"Yes, sir." she said.

He chuckled and went to his study. Sarah sat down on the couch, "How did you tame that jerk?" she whispered.

"Jerk?" she asked, pursing her lips as she furrowed her brows. "He's been really nice and sweet to me."

Well, it was only less than 24 hours since they met so she wasn't really sure but he looked really sincere and sweet to her.

Sarah was smiling, "I'm happy that he's been tamed. He's been very cold towards everyone but seeing you both today, I'm glad that he's happy with you. So, when did he propose?"

She asked as she lifted the heirloom ring that Ken gave to Kaia. "This was our ancestor's engagement ring."

Kaia was taken aback, "He didn't tell me. I feel bad now."

She only spent a few million for Ken's ring. How could that even amount to how much the ring she has on her finger!

Sarah laughed, "Don't worry, Kaia. It's the first time that a girl had gifted him with a ring."

Kaia blushed and held her hands, her doe eyes looking at Sarah's gray eyes, "Can I ask you something? It's a bit personal."

"Of course!"

"Is it crazy to be engaged just after meeting each other for one night?" she asked, searching answers from Sarah's expressive face.

"Well, I do believe in love at first sight." Sarah said, smiling. "Are you having doubts?"

Kaia shook her head, "No! I like him too much. I think that's the problem. It's just. . . I'm scared that I'm falling hard this early. What happens if he gets tired of me? What happens if he just doesn't want me anymore? Isn't this a bit reckless?"

Sarah squeezed her hand reassuringly, "Don't worry, Kaia. It's different with our family. Once we've found our once, it's game over for us. We settle down and we love him or her for the rest of our life."
