When Kaia woke up, she could smell the scent of food. She went out to see that Ken was unpacking food. She groaned softly when the sun hit her face and the sound made Ken turned towards the cute groan.

He saw Kaia in a plain white shirt and wore a pair of black tight shortie shorts. "Good morning, beautiful."

Ken couldn't help but want to be with Kaia again. He ordered dishes from one of the hotels that he owns and had it delivered here- he came early at 8 in the morning just so he could see Kaia again.

It was the first time that Ken felt this strong kind of pull and attraction towards someone. He just knew that she was his future wife.

Kaia who was still half-asleep and walked towards the tempting smell of food and sat on the dining table, "Good morning." she said softly.

Ken smiled, "Hangover?"

Kaia shook her head. Ken was amazed, "You drank a lot. I'm surprised you could handle a lot of alcohol and you could still have perfect aim. Not to mention that you're not hungover."

"I believe that I'm not a bad drunk." she replied.

She looked at him, he was in a tan suit- it didn't even hide his lean, sculpted body. The suit fit him to a T and it was a really good sight to see in the morning. She could feel her heart race and something pool in her womanhood. Did she even look at the man properly last night? How the heck can someone appear so beautiful?

"You aren't." he smiled as he sat down. "Need medicine?"

Kaia shook her head and smiled faintly at him, "The pain is bearable. Thank you for offering anyway."

He gave her a glass of water. She gratefully accepted and drank it, she looked at the food as she bit her lower lip, thinking about what she should get first.

She looked at him as she ate her food. "I thought about your offer last night."

He looked at her, his eyes showed anticipation. "Really?"

She nodded, "I'll accept your offer."

He grinned from ear to ear and was delighted to hear her answer. "I'm happy that you accepted it but aren't you going to ask what I wanted in return?"

She was getting full. She ate three servings of food and sighed happily- it was the first time in weeks that she had a good meal. She looked up at him, "I just think that I could really use your help. I did check a tiny bit of your background."

Kaia was a bit embarrassed since he was the CEO of one of the companies that wanted to partner up with her company and she turned his offer down. Should she tell him now? Would he be petty and leave her to die if he knew that she turned his company down?

He raised a brow and smirked. No one dared to cross him in NA, SA, and Eurasia- all three continents. Of course, she'd want his protection. He was glad that she did a check on him and he wouldn't have a hard time convincing her.

"What would you like in return anyway?" she asked.

"Be mine, Kaia."

Kaia was stupefied on the spot. Her stomach erupted in butterflies and her heart was thumping hard Mine? She looked at him, "You want me to be yours?" she asked.

Kaia suddenly gasped in horror as something came in her mind. "Do you want me to sell my soul to you?!"

Ken broke out in laughter. What was going on in that pretty head of hers?

"No, Kaia. I meant, I want you to be my woman." he said, smiling at her charmingly. He has never wanted a girl like he wants her. "Please, be my woman."

She was taken aback. She looked at him, "You like me?"

"Baby, like is an understatement. I want and need you."

Her head started spinning as he heard him call her Baby. She was blushing furiously. It was the first time she heard the endearment; she was a virgin and inexperienced with love and dating.

Being an only child of well-known and respected parents, she had to reach the expectations of everyone around her. She had to do really well in everything.

She was also aware of the fact that her parents were not like other parents- they were a lot older and that meant that her time with her parents wouldn't be as long as other kids have with their parents. With that reason alone, she spent most of her time with her parents, pleasing them, playing with them, having fun with them all while being a young CEO of the company.

It felt right hearing it from Ken but she was still hesitating a bit since they only met last night. She was scared that she felt strongly about this stranger that she just met.

He went down on one knee and pulled out a velvet box, "Marry me now, Kaia and I'll court you for as long as I live."
