Chapter 13 ~ Not What I Needed

Liam meets me at the airport just him “Glad you could make it” he says I just smile, tried from the journey. “I know you’ve been reading the headlines” he says “see a change?” he asks I smile “Yes, my name it isn’t there no rumours about me, no nasty things from you ex anything” “Yea, but its been giving me some trouble Dani and I reckon we are really of now” I just nod, cause I know the last time he said that he went back to her “Do you think though Liam your looking for something that doesn’t have, she doesn’t feel the same way, she told me, I told you,” He looks at me “I know, but I hope maybe she’ll feel the same way, but I’ve made her mad with the rumours, its not true, I deny it 100 % but I needed to see you, I need to tell you the behind the scenes before the world knows,” I smile,  he drives me to some kind of cabin place. “This is where we are staying” I nod and smile, and yawn slightly, feeling the tiredness creep upon me.

We sit and talk for a while at the restaurant, until Liam says he’ll catch me in the morning.

In the morning I feel refreshed, and have slept well. Liam and I take a boat out to a small island to have a picnic, and there he tells me the behind the scenes. “See MJ sure it was a dare the text and the phone call, but there was a slip of paper, a letter that I had got telling me about you, it came a few days before I was dared, and you were on my mind, and seeing your name there in the list I picked you, I sort of knew before hand, it wasn’t off the top of my head I picked you” I sigh “What did the letter say about me?” Liam smiles at me “here I brought it you have ever right to know, maybe you even know who sent it” he hands it to me, and a curious feeling takes me over, I open the envelope,

And there is my picture, a few brief things about me. I wonder who would send this, and why they’d send it here, to Liam Payne.

Something about this seems weird to me, set up springs to mind. I was set up by Danielle once could she have possible set this whole thing up from the beginning? I shake my head, crazy thought, why would Danielle set me up, how would she get my details, and send it to her boyfriend at the time. But there something to me that says it just could be possible. I want to tell him what my thoughts are I know can’t, he’ll think I’m crazy and insane. But a lot of things have been pointing to her at her, I don’t want to admit it. But maybe I just have to, maybe he just needs to realise it to.

“Liam have you ever consider the possibility that Danielle, sent this to you, that she set this whole situation up?” he looks at me like I’m crazy “I know you don’t like Dani, and believe me its mutual, but that’s plain insane”  I smile, what did I expect him to agree? Of course he’ll back up his mean nasty and rude ex or girlfriend whichever she is now.  “Wait hear the facts, before you wipe me out” he looks at me and smile “It take more then that” he says I begin to explain. He listens. “I hate to admit it, cause I have feelings for Dani, but it happens to be true” I let that soak in, I can’t imagine how hard that must be. “So she set me up with you, cause she thinks I might cheat or something?” he asks, I can’t answer I’m not sure what she thought I only know what she did, and I know that’s its no good. “This is not what I needed right now” he tells me, I can’t help agree.
