Chapter 17

Lexi's POV

1 am

cam- " lexi, wake up! Gotta drink your water!" he said rubbing my back

i opened my eyes, looked at him, then rolled over.

cam- "hey! don't go back to sleep! Atleast drink some!" he said rolling me over.

i sat up and took 2 big drinks then gave it back.

cam- " here wait your mom brought this in too. Take these advil!"
i put both in my mom and took a couple more drinks and instantly went back to sleep.

4 am

cam- "lexi gotta wake up again! drink the rest of this water!"

i drank it and being half asleep i dripped some down my face.

cam laughed a little and it being 4am with no sleep i was very emotional.

me- " dont laugh at me! its not funny!" i yelled handing him the water and starting to cry.

cam- " hey hey hey! don't cry i'm sorry! it was just a joke! i love you dont cry!!" he panicked embracing me into his chest.

me- " yeah it's not funny!" i said right before i fell asleep.

7 am

my alarm was going off. my first game was at 9am.

i got up, drank a water bottle and showered. my mom was already gone. she texted me and said she was running to the store down the road for food for today.

i got out of the shower and got dressed. i woke up cam and he got into the shower next.

me- "leave the door unlocked, i still have to get ready!"

i finished eating and went into the bathroom.

me- " gezz! you take long shower!" i said braiding my hair.

he was finally done when i was putting my make up. he dried off in the shower and came out with the towel wrapped around his waist.

cam- " really?"

me- " what?"

cam- " make up?!"

me- " yeah! i'm covering my dark circles and pale ness!"

he rolled his eyes and went into our room and got dressed.

he didn't talk to me for like 10 minutes and it was really bothering me!

me- " okay, why won't you talk to me?!" i said getting mad

cam- " because it just makes me angry that you put make up on when you're so pretty! girls just don't understand how beautiful they are and cover it with make up! sorry it just gets me upset!"

me- " you think i'm beautiful?!" i said blushing

cam- " yes! i just hate when you put make up on!"

me- " oh, i'm sorry! just my under eye circles are really bad since i didn't sleep much! sorry!"i said looking down.

cam- " no, it's okay. i kinda just exploded on you!" he said coming over and giving me a hug. i looked up at him and he started leaning in until we heard the door open.

we botth backed up and lookedd over at my mom walking in with grocery bags.

mom- " hey you guys. we need to leave in about 5 minutes. you have to be there by 8:30am for warm up!" he said putting away the groceries and packing a cooler.

i went into the room and cam followed me. i made sure ii had everything i needed in my bag and grabbed my volleyball blanket for in between games.

cam came up behind me and hugged me. i turned around and hugged him back.

cam- " good luck today!" he smiled and kissed the top of my head.

butterflies fly all over my body.
