Hi my name is Alexis Woods but i go by Lexi. I live in Vernon, California surrounded by woods and the ocean. I'm 16 years old a junior in high school and i do online schooling because the nearest school is an hour away and i'd rather not drive that!
i live with my mom and brother. my dad is over seas working. yes it sucks not seeing him. Last time he was home was 2 months ago for Christmas. The mission he's on right now he said won't take that long and he should be home in maybe 4 or 5 months! But we'll see.
my house is is at the top of a cul de sac with 2 houses at the top. mine and the one directly next door. don't ask me why they put the only houses on this street right next to each other, but they did. The Morgans use to live there, but they moved out about 3 years ago to live in Florida. They were an older couple that had 3 kids; 1 in college and the other 2 are in there 20's.
not having neighbors has been pretty peaceful and nice because i've had no one judging or over hearing me. Considering my bedroom window is lined up with a bedroom window in the neighbors house. i've gotten use to not worrying about the windows.
the nearest town well i call it civilization is about 20 minutes away so when we need something we basically have to go on a road trip! luckily my club volleyball gym is only 30 minutes away. that's worth the drive since i don't have normal school!
my back yard is attached to the beach, and since no one is really around here it feels like we have our own personal beach. when i first got into volleyball the Morgan family and mine both chipped in money to get a sand volleyball court set up in the sand. it out further than both of our yards, kinda in the middle. we always played together. but since they went to college i've had to figure out to play by myself when my brother wouldn't play.
my brother's name is Aaron. he is 18 years old and he's pretty good at volleyball. hes going to college soon too, so i'll be the only one around.
