Chapter 18

Lexi's POV

we were warming up for our first game and everyone on my team kept asking if that was cameron dallas sitting next to me mom.... uh yeah.

my best friend Emily- " holy shit Lexi is that Cameron Dallas?!" she said pointing over to him and my mom.

me- " yes! why does everyone keep asking me?!"

Emily- " because he's basically famous, and sexy!!!" he said strring at him.

me- " yeah, he's my neighbor and we kinda might of sorta have a thing i think?!" i said trying not to smile.

Emily-" OMG LEXI!" she screamed grabbing me "you have to date him!!"

we played 4 games that day and we won all of them! i'd say we're pretty badass! tomorrow we have semi finals then if we win we have the championship game!

the team was going out to dinner but i still didn't feel good so i went back to the room. Cam was invited to go to dinner but told my mom to go and volunteered to stay in the room with me.

we got up to the room around 7:30pm. i took a shower and put on a sports bra and spandex. cam was on the couch watching tv. i went over there and layed on the couch putting my legs on him.

cam- " you didn't tell me you were an extremely awesome volleyball player?!!!!!"

me- " well thanks!" i said with my eyes closed because i had a headache.

cam- " still have that headache?"

i just nodded my head. cam got up and grabbed something. he came back with water and 2 advil. i sat up and took them then layed back down.

cam- " your mom texted me and said she's bringing us food before she goes out with the moms!"

i held my thumb up and kept my eyes closed. i don't think i've ever had a headache this bad!

i drifted off to sleep. 10 minutes later i heard my mom and cam talking.

mom- " she still has her headache?!"

cam- " yeah i gave her advil. she's been looking really pale too!"

mom - " maybe if she wakes up like this still i'll take her to the doctor!"

crap. she can't take me to the doctor! the championship game is tomorrow!!

i heard her leave and cam came up to me.

cam- " hey. food is here!" he said sitting on the edge of the couch moving my hair out of my face.

i got up and we sat at the little table and ate. i was so drowsy i could barely eat. i ate half of my turkey sand which and ran into the bathroom and threw up.

i threw my hair up into a bun sitting on the floor and flushed the toilet. i cleaned myself up and sat on the floor and cried.

Cameron came in and squatted next to me. he rubbed my back.

cam- " it's okay. you're fine!"

he picked me up and carried me into our bed. he covered me up and left the room. i could hear him on the phone and i knew it was my mom. he hung up and came back into the room.

me- " did you call my mom?"

cam- " yeah she's gonna meet us at the hospital!"

me- " no! i'm fine! i need to play tomorrow! " i yelled at him.

he got some stuff together and carried me out to the car. we got to the hospital and my mom pulled in while we were walking in. she ran up to us

mom- " hey sweetie how are you?" she asked kissing my forehead.

me- " awesome! can i play tomorrow?!!"

mom- " lexi, that's not up to me. we'll have to see whats wrong!!"

i just rolled my eyes and we went inside.
