So, as I was staring at that little bottle, I realized how much I'd missed out on.

Going for bike rides in the park, meeting my future spouse, maybe getting my heart broken and binging on ice cream.

I had been depriving myself of all these memories over the past ten years.

Although I had said I wasn't up to ruining my day, I had a burst of confidence that I knew would dissipate as fast as it came.

I sprang from the couch and hurriedly ran towards the front door. Glaring through the peep hole in my door, I quickly glanced back and forth to check if anyone was outside. The coast was clear.

I slowly unlatched the lock, opening the door with ease, just to be cautious. No one could know what I was about to do.

I scurried to the end of my driveway, and crouched down to the height of the glorious bottle.
I closed my eyes, wanting a surprise. I picked up the bottle and set it in front of my field of vision. I slowly pried open my sockets and my pupils blew at the sight before me. IT WAS GRAPE JUICE.

The Lord has finally given me the best gift one can receive; a delicious, thirst-quenching, sweet drink that satisfies my tastebuds.
