ALLY'S POV

"Y/N, Come say goodbye to your Mom!" Troy yelled to the distant teenage girl upstairs.
I shook my head feeling so unbelievably broken. My own daughter thinks I don't love her. Hell, she's thought this for a while and to cope with it she started doing drugs. "She's not coming down, Troy." I frowned putting my phone into my pocket.
He pulled me into him, and wrapped his arms around my waist, "Then you'll just have to go up there and say goodbye." He kissed my forehead and let go to nudge me towards the stairs.
I groaned, "She won't listen to me. You know that."
He smiled, "Well, if you leave without saying goodbye you'll be proving her point and you'll make her think you really don't love her. Now go." He tapped my ass causing me to jump.
I giggled, "Stop that."

Going up those long stairs were torture. She didn't want to see me no matter how much I told her I love her.

The video she saw was a complete misunderstanding. Well, sort of.

The girls and I just started another tour and I was outside with Normani chilling behind the hotel we were staying at. I was so stressed with the problems that Troy and I were having at home that I blurted out the words, 'I'm so happy I got away from them for a while'. I kick myself in the ass everyday for saying that because I didn't mean it. Troy and I are better now. Better than ever, but now I'm losing my daughter. There's no telling how bad this will affect her.

I knocked on the door twice.
"Come in." The teenage girl said. Once I opened the door, her face dulled. She was probably hoping her Dad was going to come in.
I gulped before saying something, "I'm leaving."
She put one earbud in her ear and nodded, "Have fun." The way her words cut me deep was killer.
I sighed, "Can you please not be mad at me? At least not right now. God forbid something happens to either one of us while I'm gone. I don't want to leave our relationship like this. You won't come down to eat anything." I looked around and pointed, "You've got empty water bottles stashed away everywhere up here so you don't have to come in contact with me." I walked over to sit down on her bed to look at her. I sat my hand on her exposed knee. "I'm sorry about going through your room. I'm just worried about you. That's all."
She shook her head, "You still don't get it. You never will."
"Mija, what do you want me to get? I'm trying."
She tightened her jaw before replying, "I was a mistake. Right?"
I was offended, "Baby. Who told you that? You're far from a mistake."
"No like a accident. Something you didn't plan on having, but you did anyways. I get it, okay?"
"Get what?!" I was so close to crying at the thought of her believing this. "I'm telling you that you are a gift from God and -"
"Don't bullshit me. I just want the truth. I know you don't like being around Jason and I because we weren't something you wanted at the time. That's why you're gone a lot, huh? Look I love you Mom. But if you really want to make me happy, stay here longer than a month or two. Then maybe I'll appreciate you more." She groaned before grabbing her other earbud and placing it in the other ear.

How could she think all these things? My job is important to me, but she's something I can't live without. I'd stop the world to be with her, Jason, and Troy. To be one, big, happy, normal family.

I yanked the earbud out of her ear. I needed to make a quick decision, "Pack your things. You're going on tour with us."
She gave me a stupid look, "Are you fucking crazy? I have a boyfriend and school. I'm not-"
I smacked her leg, "Stop with that potty mouth. And you can do virtual school like the rest of the girls did years ago. As for Caleb- well, the heart grows fonder once you're separated for a while."

YOUR POV

I shook my head, "No. I'm not going with you. If this is something you think is going to 'save our relationship' then-"
She gave me a stern facial expression, "I don't care about listening to what you have to say. Pack a suitcase, a duffle, and a backpack and hurry. We have 50 minutes before we need to be there. You have 20 to pack." She got up off the bed and started to head out the door. She stopped in the doorway and looked back, "I mean it. Get your stuff together now."
