ALLY'S POV

Lauren sat me down on a seat in the waiting room. I didn't bother getting up and trying to walk back up to the front desk. I wasn't going to get what I wanted. I buried my face in my hands and slowly let the tears fall from my eyes. Camila sat down beside me and started to rub soft circles into my back to console me. I peeked up to see Lauren pacing back and forth in front of me.

I needed to know what happened. I just have to wrap my head around all of this. "Laur, stop pacing and talk to me." Lauren looked down biting her nails and stopped in front of me. "Tell me what happened."
"Alls, I really don't think that's such a good id-" Lauren said pulling her hand away from her mouth a little.
"- Tell me right now!" I raised my voice. There was no time for negotiation. I needed to know.
Lauren sighed and pulled a chair away from the wall to set it in front of me and sit down. A huge sigh bursted from her mouth before she started, "Do you remember that bridge that y/n saw on the way to the mall today?" I nodded with slight hesitation. "That's where it happened. I'm not sure what happened much before because when we got there she was standing on the edge of the bridge. I yelled her name and she didn't hear me. So I got closer and yelled it again. It all just happened so quickly." She admitted fidgeting with her hands. "As soon as I saw her let go, I ran as fast as I could. I took my jacket and shoes off and dove in after her. I'm surprised I'm not hurt either. I mean, that was a long, hard fall."

I could see Lauren's eyes start to well up in tears having to go back and remember everything that happened. I wasn't numb to the fact that Lauren cared for Y/N like a daughter. I mean, Lauren and Y/N are strangely alike sometimes. I guess it's because whenever Y/N was little, her favorite was 'Auntie LoLo'. Oh, times were so much easier then. My daughter was nicer, more lovable, and easier to entertain or make happy. What happened to that little girl I knew? Where did she go? There has to be some of that girl somewhere. Even if she's not here now.

Lauren continued, "She wasn't breathing when I pulled her out. It was- it was like she was fading right in front of me. So, I did some CPR that Sean taught us years ago." Her voice was trembling unbearably. It's been a while since I've seen her be upfront about her emotions. "Nothing was working at first. Then, she started to cough up water and I didn't want to let her go, ya know?" I nodded knowing that'd be my reaction, too. "But then she got mad at me. I'm sure it was because of all the drugs in her system. I had to get away. I just couldn't see her like that." One tear slowly raced down her porcelain face.
"Mad? Why'd she get mad?" I asked unsure why there would even be a possibility. If someone saved my life, Id be thankful.
"She didn't want to be saved, Alls. It was no accident. She wanted me to leave her there." Lauren sniffled a little before finishing, "I did what I could, Ally. I just let it go too far."
I scooted to the edge of my seat to bring Lauren into a hug. She rested her chin on my shoulder and began to sob. It made me upset too, so I quickly joined her.

I tried to straighten myself up and did my best to pull my body away from the security of Lauren's. "Did she tell you why she did this?"
Lauren regrettably shook her head, "No. I left to talk to you before I could ask. She wouldn't have told me anyways."

"Crap." I muttered to myself remembering what I had to do.
"What?" Camila asked obviously feeling a little emotional.
My bottom lip started quivering, "I have to call Troy and tell him."
"No, not right now. Not until the doctor comes out." Camila sounded distressed. Almost as if she knew what would happen.
I shook my head, "I can update him. He just needs to know you found her."

I took out my phone and started scrolling to find the name 'Troy'. My fingers were shaking trying to get the courage to press the phone icon. I finally did and pulled the phone up to my ear to stay seated and talk. There's no way I could stand up at the moment. I'm not emotionally prepared.

The phone only rang 1 time before he answered, "Babe, have you heard anything?"
I sniffled trying to keep my own composure, "Troy, it's not good."
"Please don't say that, Allyson. For the love of God, don't say that." He begged.
A tear dropped down my eye onto my cheek, "I don't know how else to say it. She jumped off of a bridge while she was on some medicine." I could hear my own voice crack trying to get the words out.
"I'm coming down right now." He sternly suggested.
"Okay, Hun. I understand." I replied solemnly. I'm not going to keep him away from his own daughter. Plus, we don't have to leave for the next venue for at least 3 days. You know what? Forget the venue. This whole tour is shit, excuse my language. I should've never brought her here. It would've been better for her to stay with Troy. I'm such a bad Mother.
"I'll get Jason to pack his things, too. We'll see you soon." He sounded harsh, but I know that's just his emotional voice. His little girl is hurt. Who wouldn't be emotional?
"Okay, Troy. I love you. Be safe." I spoke trying to keep my true emotions at bay.
"We will. I love you, too." To my surprise he said it back. Usually when he's upset he just hangs up the phone.

I ended the call and looked at the two girls, "He's coming down with Jason."
Camila softly rubbed up and down my back to continue to console me, "Good."

A man in a long white coat, brown hair, and a clipboard in hand walked into the waiting room. "Is there anyone in here that's related to Y/N Hernandez-Ogletree?"
I automatically got up and was followed by the other two girls, "That would be us, Doctor. Is she alright?" I asked with a hopeful tone in my voice.
He looked down at his clipboard with a long face, "I'll need you all to come with me before I say anything."

I felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest. What happened to my little girl?
