"Come in here, y/n." Mom yelled from the lounge room.
I rolled my eyes, "Nah, I'm good."
It got quiet in the whole bus until my curtain was yanked open, and a smirking Lauren was standing outside my bunk with her hands on her hips. Before I could stop it, she scooped me up in her arms and carried me into the lounge room. She dropped me down on my Mom's lap causing her to squeal in pain. "Oh my God, Lo. She's not a kid anymore. You can't just throw her on me."
"I think I broke my back on your knee." I whined rubbing my lower back. I got off my Mom and sat on the empty spot beside her. "Can I go lay down now?"
"Wow, you're so exciting." Normani laughed taking a bite of her sandwich.
I nodded not really wanting to reply, "I gotta get my phone." I got up to go to the bunk and retrieve my phone to see Caleb texted me.I sat down back where I was only moments ago to get comfortable and reply.
Caleb: I hope you know you turned me on and left me ugh
Y/N: I didn't want to leave ;)
Caleb: now I can't stop thinking about it.
Y/N: what? my lips? my body?
Caleb: I s2g please stop. this isn't helping. I'm so frustrated
"Why are you smiling so hard, kid?" Dinah asked throwing a piece of popcorn at me.
I quickly changed my expression, "Oh no. It's something my friend, Bailey, said."
I looked back down to reply to Caleb.Y/N: aw you sure you want me to stop? cause I could keep going. I have nothing else to do on this bus
Caleb: ok keep going then ;) what will you miss about me? besides my amazing mouth that could make you cum on the spot
Y/N: damn babe. you went there, huh? maybe I'll even miss them fingers. they do wonders for me lol
Caleb: good bc they're all for you, babe.
Y/N: you promise? :)
Caleb: always. but God you got me turned on. why does that always happen
Y/N: I'm glad I have that effect on you, babe.
I received a picture from Caleb.
Caleb: Like what you see?
My face heated up looking at the picture on my phone screen. It was a dick pic and I was strangely turned on.
"You're blushing really hard. Oh my God." Dinah laughed sitting up in her seat.
I shook my head trying to cool myself. I almost started stuttering but quickly caught myself, "I'm not even blushing. That's just my face."
I looked back down at my phone to continue the conversation once more. Keep your chill.Y/N: you know I do ;) but don't send that stuff right now. I'm on the bus with my mom
Caleb sent me another text, but I didn't get to see it. My phone was being snatched out of my hands by a tall Polynesian woman. "Oo this name doesn't look like 'Bailey'. It looks more like bae."
I stepped up on the lounge couch to reach for my phone before she could read anything, "Gimme it, Auntie Dinah." I whined. This is so bad. So, so, so bad.
Dinah Jane smirked, "No. I kinda wanna see why he's making you blush so hard."
I shook my head vigorously, "No. No you don't. Just give it to me."
"Lauren, catch!" Dinah yelled throwing the phone to the dark haired girl in the corner of the bus cuddled next to her wife.
She started to unlock the phone and I jolted over to get it. "I swear to God. Gimme the phone, Aunt Lo."
She smirked once I got closer, "Normani, heads up."
She chucked it at the darker girl on the other side of the lounge area. I ran to her and she smiled unlocking the phone. Once I got to her, she slid the phone over to my Mom. Mom yelled, "Hold her back, Dinah."
Dinah grabbed one of my arms, but one of them was free. I was able to reach for the phone and chuck it to the back of the room causing everyone to look at me with a shocked expression. "What the heck?!" Mom screeched. "Get her other hand, Dinah."
Mom sighed walking to the back of the bus to retrieve the thrown phone. "You're lucky it didn't crack." Mom laughed. "You wouldn't have got a new one for a while."
"Please, Ma." I whined. "You don't need to look at those."
"I bet they're nudes." Camila laughed in Lauren's neck which caused my eyes to widen. When Camila saw my face she inhaled deeply, "Oh my God. I called it."
"DJ, lemme go." I whined.
Dinah pulled me to sit in her lap and smiled keeping her clutch on me. "No can do, baby girl. Mama Brooke made her orders." She laughed. As Mom was looking through the phone, her eyes got bigger. "Kill me now." I groaned digging my head into Aunt Dinah's neck.
I looked back to see my Mom still scrolling through the phone. I'm so dead. She looked up to me and shook her head, "I'm about to dunk your phone in Holy Water."
"No, Ma. I'm sorry. It was all Caleb. I swear." I whined knowing I probably wouldn't get it back for a while now.
She shook her head, "I'm pretty sure it was you, too."
"I wanna see it!" Dinah said getting up and making me fall out of her lap onto the floor.
She grabbed the phone from my Mom and looked through the messages. "Your daughter is a tease, Mama." Dinah joked chucking the phone to Mani.
I ran over to snatch the phone from the darker girl. "This isn't a sharing moment, Jesus."
I felt a harsh smack on the back of my head, "I've warned you." Mom gritted her teeth.
I rubbed the sore spot now on the back of my head. I don't really understand my Mom and Dad's whole fascination with religion. Jason and I never really got into it, to be honest. If God is real, then why would he let such shitty things happen to such good people?--
The bus stopped at a gas station so we could all get a few snacks and take a little break from being cooped up in this cramped area for almost 6 hours.
I walked into the station to run straight to the candy. I needed to add to my stash of goods. Mom followed me with her wallet in her hand. "Get what you can carry. We'll come back for drinks."
I nodded and started to reach for everything. Snickers, Butterfingers, Reeses, Kitkats, Skittles (sour and non), Hersey's, etc. My arms were almost full when I went over to the chips. I grabbed a few packages of lays, and hot Cheetos before walking over to the counter. The guy behind it was probably my age, and very attractive. I mean, he's no Caleb, but he's not bad looking either. He smiled, "Is this everything, miss?"
I laughed, "No, My Mom is going to be here in a second with her things."
He smiled, "So, are you the one that got off that bus?"
I nodded, "Well, I'm 1 out of 6 people who got off it."
"Woah, are you famous or something?" He chuckled. His voice was kind of soothing.
I laughed, "Hardly. Just call me a groupie."
He leaned on the counter and started to bag each of the items, "What's your name, groupie?"
I smirked, "It's y/n. Even though that's none of your business, Ross."
He was shocked, "How did you know my name?"
I laughed and pointed at the shirt he was wearing, "You have a name tag, dude."
He looked down and sent me a dumbfounded look, "Oh wow. That's embarrassing."
Mom walked up and set her things on the counter. "This is a lot of stuff, but okay. Go grab some sodas from the freezers back there. Only for you. Just get me Smart water."
I nodded and ran back to the freezers to grab 2 sprites, 1 coca cola, and 1 Mountain Dew. Then about 4 smart waters. I hurried back with my little arms piled high with bottles. I laid them down on the counter and pushed my hair back once I was done.
He bagged the bottles and typed into the cash register before saying, "That will be $209.54"
Mom smirked and looked at me, "You're lucky I love you."
I nodded not fully believing her statement.
After sliding her card, she grabbed three of the bags and put them on her arms. "Will you get the rest, hun?"
I nodded and grabbed the last two bags. I started to walk out the door when the guy behind the counter yelled, "Wait!" I looked back to see him writing on the back of the receipt. I walked back over and leaned on the counter. He slipped the paper towards me, "This is my number. If you're ever not being a groupie, and you're in town, hit me up." He winked.
I smiled, "Thanks, Ross." I took the receipt and slipped it into my back pocket before walking out of the convenience store.Lauren tapped my shoulder as we walked out, "That guy was staring at your ass."
I shrugged, "It's not like that'll be the last time someone does that."
"You're gonna kill your Mom with phrases like that." She laughed hooking her arm with mine.
I smirked, "That's the plan."
