HAITANI RINDOU
"Hey, Rindou."
I looked at Ran, giving him a questioning look. He had just entered my room, already dressed up, and I was wondering why.
"What?" I said as I got up from lying down.
He gestured to his cellphone. "I got a call from Mikey."
"Then?"
"He said that we have a meeting."
My eyes narrowed. "At this time?" I asked, glancing at my wristwatch. I frowned. What the hell? It's 9 PM—way too late at night.
"Yes. So you act now, Rindou."
I sighed and went back to lying down on my bed, ignoring him. I was too tired to attend; I just wanted to rest. I was beat and didn't think I could participate.
"Just tell Mikey that I can't attend."
I closed my eyes, feeling the cold of the room. I heard a loud sigh from my brother, then suddenly, he seized the blanket wrapped around my body.
"What the fuck, Ran!" I said irritably.
"I'm tired of dealing with your laziness, Rindou. Goddamn it, you're as stubborn as a mule!"
"If I said I don't want to, don't force me. Leave me alone, Ran!"
"Yeah, right. You take care of your life now, you damn fucker!"
I glared at him. "Fuck you."
"Fuck you too!" he shouted, then stormed out. He slammed the door so loudly I could tell he was really pissed. I messed my hair up and got up, annoyed. That brother of mine is scary when he's angry. I didn't want to get into a fight with him; I was too tired. I was sure I'd be surprised if he beat me up later. I didn't want that to happen.
"Tch! Why did Mikey have a meeting at this time? I know he doesn't sleep, but his eyebags are huge. It's still time to rest. If he doesn't want to, he shouldn't meddle with us. It's so annoying." I couldn't do anything, even though I complained to my brother every time.
I threw on a shirt and sweatpants. I also wore a jacket because I was only going to a meeting. It was up to them.
"So, you're coming too?" Kuya Ran said while driving. "You made it hard for me to force you."
"Yeah, right. Shut up now!" He just shook his head and kept driving.
Finally, when we arrived at the meeting place, I got out of the car and went inside one of our hideouts.
"Rindou's here," Kokonoi said when he saw me. "Where's Ran?"
I pointed behind me in answer. I sat next to Sanzu and grabbed the water bottle he was drinking.
"What the fuck, bro?" he said.
I smirked at him. "Thank you, best friend."
"Damn you!"
"Okay, now we're complete," Mikey said, leaning back in his seat. "What's this meeting for?" I asked. "Really, huh? This time of night?"
I crossed my arms and leaned back in my seat too. I drank the water I snatched from Sanzu earlier and raised an eyebrow at Mikey.
He sighed. "This is important."
I licked my lower lip and wiped my mouth. "Okay," Kakucho said. "So, what's this all about?"
Suddenly, I felt the atmosphere shift because of Mikey's presence. I could see the anger in his eyes, so I straightened up and focused on him to listen to what he would say.
