"Haitani Rindou was found drunk again at the club he's running."

My forehead twitches when I saw Sanzu Haruchiyo who just arrived and sat beside me. He asked for a drink on the bartender and he leaned on the table to looked at me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I wanted to see you," he answered and drink his wine.

"What the fuck, Sanzu?" I said. "Are you gay?"

He almost blew out the wine he was drinking. He put down his glass and looked at me then he started to laugh.

"Haitani Rindou," he called my full name. "I still love my girl but you're calling me gay just because I told you that I wanted to see you?"

"Tsk!" I said irritatedly.

"Well. Since we're both single, why don't we try to date each other?" he raised his brow repeatedly.

"Are you hearing yourself, moron?"

"Why?" he licked his lower lip. "We can date each other."

My forehead twitches more because he's teasing me with that bullshit look of him.

"Fuck you!"

He smirked.

"Now, how does it feel being broken hearted?"

"Shut the fuck up!"

I drank my wine again and asked for more on the bartender. I don't care anymore if I am drunk. This is my club and I can do whatever I wanted to do.

Sanzu and I remained silent for a minutes but later on he took a deep sigh.

"I still don't have a lead about her."

I stopped drinking my wine. My jaw tightened when Sanzu said that.

I dropped the glass loudly and looked up. I closed my eyes tightly as I'm thinking about the woman who made me like this.

"Do you really think that she's still alive, Rindou?" Haruchiyo asked. "We already found the dead body on that hideout."

I looked at him.

"I refused to believe," I answered. "I don't believe that she's dead. I can't feel anything about the body we found."

"But, bestfriend... we maybe don't recognize her but she's wearing the same outfit that Y/N's wearing that time."

I shook my head. "No."

He sighed in defeated.

"Fine. I can't win against you but let me ask you, Rindou. If she's still alive, then where is she? I already used our all connections to find her but we still don't have any single lead."

"She's just hiding."

"I don't mind if that's what you think. I will just let you but it's been a year already, Rindou. The rest of us already accepted that she's dead. You're the only one left who's still hoping that she's alive."

I glared at Sanzu.

"So you're saying that you also don't believe that she's alive, huh?"

He stilled when he realized what he said.

"Look, Rindou. It's not that what I meant-"

"Shut up, Sanzu!" I cut him off. "You're just saying that because you can still see your girl. You can still protect her. You can still see her whenever you wanted to. But me? She's nowhere to be found and I can't do that."
