Flashback from the rooftop

"You're not going to answer me?"

Rindou's jaw tightened because the woman in front of him still didn't say a word and kept her back on him.

They stay like that for a minutes now but still, nothing happen because she doesn't want to face Haitani Rindou.

"Can't you face me?" he asked irritatedly.

She bit her lower lip.

Rindou looked at her trembling hand that holding a butterfly mask as she slowly lifted it in front of her. She's trembling because she can't face Rindou and she's nervous because if she just do a one wrong move, everything she worked so hard just to hide and stay away from Rindou will be completely in waste.

'Why you need to be here?' Y/N thought.

She's still in shock why Rindou is here. She's hiding and she about to come in his club to check on him but here he is, behind her and asking who is she.

On the other hand, Rindou's starting to loose his patience because he wants to know immediately who's that girl behind that mask. He wants to know if she's Naya or Y/N because he's totally confuse right now and his mind can't handle it anymore.

He left his work just to find out what's bothering him because it's making him insane again.

"I'll count one to three. If you still don't gonna face me, I'll force you."

Y/N slowly put the mask on her eyes.

"N-No need," she said.

'That voice...' Rindou thought.

"Face me, then," Rindou said. "Show me your face."

She slowly turn around to face Rindou.

When their eyes finally met, it was the moment that they knew, even if they were pretending, the longing is obvious in their eyes. They can't hide anymore what's the real feeling of their hearts because it already obvious in their eyes.

Rindou knew that even if with her mask, he still know her. He knows the shape of her face, her lips, her eyes.

He knows all of it.

Rindou swallowed hard.

"If you're thinking that you can fool me just because you're hiding behind that familar mask of yours, you're completely wrong."

Y/N eyes widened.

She blinked because of what he said.

She was taken a back and she bit her lower lip again.

"I memorized all of you. Your body, heart and soul. I know all of it because you were mine before."

"Rindou..." she whispered his name.

Y/N lost it.

Yeah. He was right. She can't hide anything from him.

"Now, Y/N. Answer me. Where the hell have you been?"

She removed the butterfly mask and threw it away.

Even though Rindou already knew that she's Y/N, he can't still believe it. He thought that this girl was Naya because her actions and the way she dress was her and he just need a confirmation.

He wants to ask why but no. The only thing that important here right now is she's here and alive. Her eyes can't lie and even if it was hidden by the mask, he knows the look of the girl he loves.
